Yes. I just received it a few days after the release on October 28th. Since I didn't have any of the previously released sets this was a great bargain. I paid $47 US for all seasons. I have watched up to mid-third season so far and the quality of the set is excellent. Cheers, Bojangles

Z - Zucchini: We could have a little pork and beans now and a little zucchini later. Or a little zucchini now and a little pork and beans later. Or if you like the pork and beans, you can have them and I'll take the zucchini or I can take the pork and beans and you can have the zucchini, so what will it be? Zucchini or pork and beans?

My wife claims that she read somewhere that he used to do the "Fred Sanford/Phony Heart Attack" routine off camera, and that is why nobody paid attention to him when he had a real heart attack on the set of the TV show "The Royal Family". Is that true? I know Della Reese, and the others, assumed he was "faking" it, and only realized that it was reality after he collapsed on the floor, and...

I got this tidbit from Wikipedia, hope it helps....... The truck driven in the series is still functional (as of July 2006) and used by its owner, Donald Dimmitt of Dimmitts Auto Salvage, a real-life junk dealer in Marshall County, Indiana.[1]

The thing I liked about Sanford & Son was how every ethnic, racial, nationality, etc. were insulted in the show (Au-Chu, Julio, Rallo, Goldstein, Hoppie, male, femaile, etc.). In this extremely politically correct age it's still nice to see where we can laugh at each other and others without it being taken so seriously. I' m white and it doesn't bother me when Fred made fun of or insulted whites....

Just wondering if anyone has bought the complete series box set, and if so how you are enjoying it. I can't afford it right now, but in a few months I'd like to get it. The only seasons of S&S I have on DVD is 2 and 5 so I'm interested in having all the episodes, even though I remember Season 6 (last one) was a little weak.
