Favorite Thanksgiving Episodes?
Published (2009-11-26 13:32:00)
My hands-down favorite Thanksgiving is "Giblets for Murray" from Mad About You. I laugh hysterically everytime I watch that episode. Roseanne also had some funny ones, especially in the earlier seasons.

FOX to set a new "Extended...

It's only one night. I don't think FOX will ever do programming at 10pm regularly. First of all, the 10pm slot is the weakest of all(and getting weaker each year, more and more people are going to bed earlier I guess) and second the large majority of FOX stations have 10pm newscasts that completely dominate. It's too profitable and the affiliates won't give that up.

I agree about "DALLAS". Thise later episodes were, for the most part; boring or dumb, or let's face it, just plain stupid. (that whole story where J.R. was in the mental hospital come painfully to mind).

Bewitched Samantha's Thanksgiving to Remember is my ultimate favorite. The Beverly Hillbillies, The Thanksgiving Spirit, when they go to Hooterville, and have Thanksgiving at the Shady Rest with castmembers of Petticoat Junction and Green Acres. Cheers Bob Newhart

I loved the show Roseanne but I thought season 9 was awful. I also agree
about Prison Break it was great during the first two seasons.

The characters of Full House are kind of obvious... especially DJ, Stephanie and Michelle, since they literally grew up. However, Stephanie was the worst. I really didn't like her character at all toward the end of the series. She was so rebellious and "un-Tanner like" as a teenager. Very sad, since I liked her a lot in the beginning.

Impressive list. I see several of my favorites on there. Having been a TV
viewer now for 50+ years, I'd have a difficult (near impossible) time narrowing
mine down to a hundred. A thousand, maybe.

It wouldn't be so bad if all the seasons of all classic tv shows were on DVD. Unfortunately the studios still drag their feet on some of these shows.

What's the deal with Make My Day? Was it production issues, or just ratings? It seems to me if it did well initially it would have aired then and they wouldn't be airing 2 new episodes a week. The whole show just looks awful.
