I'll say! Now I won't have to do without the French Roast Fanatic or Sultry Sumatra. Chad, would the Baronet pods be allowed to come play with the others on your site? Not sure who their roaster was, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Baronet. Their Canadian partner was a small outfit named Pioneer Coffee in Kelowna, BC but I'm pretty sure they weren't making the pods. Based on my last conversation with Kienna, the SunCafe seems to be doing well. Yes, I'm sad to see this. I should look for my manual and see if there is a toll free number. I have a feeling though that they have gone out of business in North America. The CCB use to carry their brewers even up to one month ago. They no longer have that brewer listed. I notice Coffee Wiz still does though.
Just as a side note, someone on ebay had the brewer on for a decent price and ...

If anyone is interested, Buy.com currently has REFURB Breville BKC600XL's for $112.99 inc FREE shipping. They have a 90 day warranty. I have no idea what features are better or worse on the 600's vs other models. I just thought the price seemed attractive.

In general extended warranties are a waste of money. Why would one spend almost 20% of the price of the item on one? I would not get it. _________________ Scott

I am really tempted, especially since I have a $105 credit with buy.com. Plus I already have a my kcup and woulfn't use a filter anyway. I do have a couple of concerns however:
One of the reviews mentions a vibration problem. I believe that was solved with the B70. So, does the referbed have "quiet brew". If not i'd go with the B70.

This information came at a fortuitous time. My Platinum has begun to slow down after only 4 months of usage. I descaled it and cleaned the cup holder, but it is still not pressurizing the cups like it used to do. I'm going to call Keurig.

I vote Keurig. Everyone complains about the Tassimo's selection, and I keep hearing bad things about their customer service and faulty t-discs. You could get a cheap frother and make faux lattes using the coffee from the Keurig. Otherwise, I'd suggest getting a different machine for espresso-based drinks. There's no one machine that does both regular coffee and espresso well.

It's a good thing it already comes with a My K-Cup because the sampler box inside was missing!
