Reactor Station Alpha...

Sideshow has ventured back into the unlicensed diorama arena, hitting us with the Reactor Station Alpha environment first, but with several more coming. The next wave of three-packs are starting to show up on the West Coast. They are: Flash, Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold Heat Vision Superman, Silver Banshee, Metallo Cyborg, Mr. Miracle, Plastic Man Also, the next wave of six-packs might not make it to all Targets. There are a lot of reports that the current flood of six-packs are listed NCF, or not carried forward, which means they won't be restocked. The same thing happened last year....

The last couple of months have been great for Star Wars figures, if you can find them. I almost missed the wave with the two new Cantina aliens, but I did manage to see them once and got them then. Today I found most of the last wave for the year, the ESB wave. I got the ones I wanted anyway, I saw all but Snowspeeder Luke and the Cloud City Wing Guard. I'm likely to buy both of those if I ever see them(and a second concept Snowtrooper to...

I was able to find all of wave 10 at the store, though it took multiple trips. I had a really hard time finding Robotman for some reason. I love Joker and Man-Bat.

Three of the Targets near me never carried the 6-packs at all this year, so I'm not sure if that is a good or a bad thing re: the latest 6-packs. But all the three packs will be out before the end of the year, even if Cheetah and Batman Beyond packs never made it anywhere near me. The big mystery is the single packs. Totally AWOL for months, 15 that were announced haven't been released. Makes me wonder if the singles are dead as a...

My closest Target is down to three 3-packs. I am hopeful that their restock will be the new stuff. If that happens, I'll try and snag some for both you

I'm still cranking out Flash Gordon reviews because, hey, somebody has to. Today I'm looking at Mr. James Bond himself, Timothy Dalton as Prince Barin.
This figure from BifBangPow is the most articulated in the Flash Gordon line. While that isn't exactly saying much, it's got to count for something,

According to ToyFare magazine, Power Girl and Joker are definitely part of Wave 10, which will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. Ugh.
And it looks like the Giants of Justice line has been revived with the Flash. A seller from Hong Kong recently sold one on eBay. Link .
I've heard this will be an SDCC exclusive.

Waves 3 and 4 of Clone Wars hit the Targets near me - found 10 of the 12 this morning (No Mace or Gree), plus two new Battle Packs - the Gunship Gunners with
Turret and the Clone Wars "Assault on the Venture's Claw" (which was originally called the Serach for R2-D2).
