Good for you for being honest on the juror questionnaire. I think some potential jurors try to game the system to either get out of duty or get seated. It is also good that you did not go out and do any of your own research on the case until being dismissed. There was a mis-trial this week because some juror went out and did just that... while still serving. I was dismissed from a double murder trial in September because I stated that I was...

You are to be commended for doing the research AFTER you were released from the jury pool. Of course your ethcis are no surprise to me. Those of us who after nearly 8 years of following the Westerfield case have done a lot of searching for information...

That was a very short lived rally, but you didn't expect this thing to get fixed in a few days, did you? Was the market oversold? Some stocks were, others weren't. For example; Reliant Energy Inc (RRI) reached a low of $2.77 on October 10th, 2008. Reliant Energy Inc (RRI) reached a high of $7.46 on October 14th, 2008. That's about a 269% return in 4 days or so if my math is correct....

My Script is a little different, but also requires some imagination, as does the prosecutions theory. Danielle is taken from her home sometime before midnight , February 1st. 17 THE COURT: OKAY. WE'LL TAKE CARE OF IT. 18 DOES IT HAVE A DATE? DOES IT HAVE A DATE? 19 THE WITNESS: THE EVIDENCE LIST? 20 THE COURT: YES....
