... seriously... just think about it (I really doubt he will. It's just more of a food for thought thread) I was watching the new commercial that someone posted, and read some of the comments that people made about him making too many commercials and thought, what if he just said screw it, and retired. I did elude that he doesn't know how many more years he'll play in an interview last year...

Anybody? Gotta say right now I've got nothing. I just figured since it is a crucial game maybe we should get some dialog going?

Anyone who has been watching how Ted Cottrell has been coaching our defense this year should find the following background information very familiar. It almost sounds like a skipped record, playing over, and over again. What's especially interesting is how, when Ted was with the Vikes, his D UNDERACHIEVED the first half of the season, then did better later on. Sound familiar? There's only ...

I stated last year that it would be wise to keep a young star like Michael Turner and trade LT while his value was high because historically rb's production goes way down after 2000-2500 carries. Not only that but MT had a much higher ave per carry than LT in his four years here. We could could have gotton at least a 1st and 2nd for LT and instead we end up with a depreciating asset, nothing ...

Just saw a new commercial here at Nike that will start airing on Saturday. Keep your eyes open for it. Once again, Nike/Wieden Kennedy Advertising Agency does a pretty good job!!! The Murph is nicely showcased again... The lives of two NFL superstars literally collide in Nike Football’s new campaign. San Diego Chargers All-Pro running back LaDainian Tomlinson and Pittsburgh ...

I say give Sproles, Tolbert and Hester more carries. LT isn't healthy, isn't his former self, and isn't effective.

please, please, please, go get us a middle linebacker with some chest hair who isn't afraid to smack someone in the mouth! Lance Briggs was available, we should have went after him hard, Wilhelm is killing me, and we are now seeing how important shawne m. is to our defense, they need to re-do his contract now!! before he comes back next year and gets about 15 sacks, his injury makes his future ...

GREGG OFFICIALLY PLACED ON IR Posted by Mike Florio on October 8, 2008, 11:13 a.m. The Baltimore Ravens have announced the placement of veteran defensive tackle Kelly Gregg on injured reserve. Gregg joins Ravens defensive tackle Dwan Edwards on the season-ending injury list. “These are two very good players, but we expect both back next season,” G.M. Ozzie Newsome said. “...

I think that the worst we can go is 10-6. That means that we have to go 8-3 the rest of the season. You can try to predict which games we can win and which we will lose, but this season is so crazy you can never tell. Unless this team improves in all aspects, it is going to be very hard to win 8 more. If we lose this weekend, that will only allow us 2 more loses all year....unless Denver ...

The O Line and D Line are getting routinely worked over. Rivers is constantly under pressure. The drive-blocking is flat-out not getting the job done. But, with the OL, we can figure they are getting themselves together after all the injuries and missed games. They will get healthy. They will get better. The D Line, however, is getting beaten handily and no relief is in sight. ...

He really looks like the better QB... Dont get me wrong, I like Rivers as well, but I think Drew Brees is a better passer... Another AJ blunder...

Would someone tell LT he's a leader and should be supporting his team in the 4th QTR instead of pouting on the bench when they're getting kicked in the mouth! Pathetic!

Ted Cottrell may joke all he wants about the Miami "Wildcat" offense with their multiple gadget plays, but frankly, I get a bit worried when I see this overconfident, smug attitude. Ted can joke all he wants, but the fact of the matter is, they beat up the Pats with this offense, and Tuna has helped turn the Fins around surprisingly fast. Remember, it was COTTRELL who failed to make more...

after watching last night's game, and watching Drew lead the Saints pre-game war chant ... I 'm telling you the biggest mistake AJ has made is letting Drew walk over Rivers. Drew played magnificently last night ... he was throwing the ball like he was threading a needle. He also has gotten stronger. He was making throws down filed that Rivers can't make. He is way more athletic than Rivers ...

How much more can we take of watching this passive defense. Why does it take half time to make some adjustments each week. Come on, some one has to take a fall for this terrible defense. What happened to our lock down cornerbacks? Also please resign Merriman!!!! Teddy doesnt have a clue what he is doing out there. Were lucky to have the talent we have, and can make some plays. This is ...
