I have a few really good tips to get ready for dove season with Fido. I always make it to Yuma for the opener and 120 deg. days are not that un common. Average about 110. A lot of people dont take their dogs to dove hunt because of the heat and its more a waiting and fetching game anyway. I think some people miss out on some fun by not taking the pup. But it is a little hassle. ...

After this morning's foray into the fields I think I am going to have to break down and use the e-collar to solidify Milo's (see avatar) recall. I've been very reluctant to use it as he is so soft and shuts down at any negative pressure. I think mild stimulation should work okay with him. In the yard he comes when called without fail. In the field he gets so excited that he only comes when ...

Currently I'm building some more outside runs and kenneling for six dogs in three kennel / runs. Poking round the web I've found nothing that gives a detailed description on how to do this for Mr Joe NonBuilding-Professional, or Miss Joinery Challenged. I thought I might take some snaps and show the method I'm using; pretty simple, safe, strong and weather tight. Should I do this...

Man my house dog has the worst breath i've ever smelled and I think he's going to kill somebody with that horrible stench. Namely, Me. What do you guys do for your dogs with the worst breath. I mean the "worst". It's so bad, damn can't you smell it? I'm serious. I know you're probably laughing at this but I'm in need of a fix, a remedy, a cure, whatever. This dog is about to get kicked ...

I am pleased to announce that GrCHF CH Vernon de L'Escarbot SH and Ardoise des Deux Pierres Bleues will be having a litter in early August. Vern is a dog of many first in the US. He is the First and only dog of any breed in UKC history to become Grand Champion of the Field. He is also to our knowledge the first American Bred EB to recieve a CACT in France. Vern has recieved his "Champion"...

If your dog stumbles into this he's dead I think, I dont think he...
