Quote: I thought it was understood that we were comparing a TT Sport Series to a TT Pro Series. I was talking abount the TT field series as in field 70 and 90 compared to the pro series 100 and 500. No difference in range and no difference in transmiter. Only real difference is the 90 has two buttons one nick and one continuous. Other difference is 6 levels compared to 18. I have never used a sport collar and can't see myself buying one.

English Cocker spaniels?

Quote: Have you pegged the "wrong" dog? Field-bred cockers don't show, and show-breds don't hunt. The first part of that sentence is 100% accurate, the second 99%. So maybe you saw field bred cockers at a field event that you called a "show?" Nope.....didn't peg the wrong dog. The show English cockers that I saw seemed to be very obedient for their owners and very tolerant of all the...

I have 2 field bred cockers. I feel they are the best family/hunting that there is. They are very loyal, great with kids and will hunt their hearts out for you. I mainly hunt pheasants, chuckers and grouse. For more info go to www.fieldcockers.com . I did get my dog from a breeder that does have pups for sale on that site. Good luck , Mike

She's looking to you as a parent like any 2yr old would. I say lay-off the training until she's mature enough (~6 months old). Any training now should be done to make associations only, like blowing a whistle means she's getting fed. Actual commands w/o anything to associate it with is only going to confuse her. Don't worry, when she gets older she will become bolder.

My English Setter stays in the room with me. If a motel does not allow pets, I don't stay there.

Anything over 15 inches is considered a standard poodle, and thus eligible for AKC HTs (but not field trials). They're some pretty good little workers in the breed. MG PS Liked what you...

Hi I have done a fair bit of searching and reading old postes about e collars and have narrowed my choice down to these two options 1) Tri tronics G3 sport basic 2) Tri tronics Field 70 (or 90 if funds allow) I understand the 90 has the buzz button on the front rather than the back of the transmitter which is a bit more handy. I will be using it on a male brittany who will be hunting and ...

In a few weeks I will be getting the first of my two Britts this year...I have pretty much decided on Black Gold food for them Because 1.Food content and quality..2.Diverse offerings ie puppy food/trainers mix/kennel mix/performance mix 3.The company commitment to the "sporting dog"breed....so someone covince my of why I should go with another brand or stick with my decision....Thanks
