I Finally Got MY Al Ange Pouch...
Published (2009-12-16 06:29:00)
I also would like to see a picture of a Bubba Skin pouch. I believe I tried to have a BS pouch made before I bought my Gary Stevens pouch. That had to be twenty years ago. My Gary Stevens pouch gets used at least once a week for the whole time I've owned it and has never needed any restitching or other attention except a little oil about once a year or two. I have no idea how much Gary charges for a plain pouch now since he doesn't...

Black Leather Shell/hull pouch?...
Published (2009-12-17 23:47:00)
There is one bad thing about the lonesome charlie pouches.... you get kinda bored looking at the same old pouch long before you wear it out, so you want to buy a new one, but can't find a good excuse to LOL I've got the same pouch that i've used off and on since 02, still looks just about as good as the day i bought it, just with that hard-to-acquire broken in quality to it.

Cold Weather
Published (2009-12-17 23:33:00)
Mike from my memory my skiing days, it is the other way around. Go inside where there is humidity and your glasses are at outside temperature and they will fog up. After they warm up and you go outside they will not fog up until they get cold and are in the presence of humidity, usually vapor from your breath. Leaving them outside will stop the moisture from condensing on them but if you take them in and just set them aside or on your head...

Briley fitted Ultra Light tube...
Published (2009-12-14 22:36:00)
Yes, Briley over Kolar for you since they are local to you. Any problem and the gun can just be dropped off/you can have replacement parts needed the same day. But you may be better off with a Match weight Classic set instead since the Gold E's are on the lighter side to begin with and the little extra tube weight is going to help a lot on that gun. Note, the older 682 Gold models have heaver barrels to begin with, so keep that in mind...

[quote="smokeball"]We is how royalty adresses the masses. /quote] Wrong smokeball- you have obviously not heard the queen talk recently- "One " is the Royal We- "One has had an annus horribilis..." Anyhoo -why does is matter who "we " is? If it's Remington's opinion you can take it or leave it as it's an open forum. Why should he have to defend his opinion?...

9x out of 10, recoil from a 20ga over/under will be equal to, or more than, recoil from a 12ga, due to the fact that the 20ga is typically dramatically lighter. Buy a 12ga gun, shoot 1oz loads, and you'll have the best of both worlds.

Colder weather shooting results in more and warmer clothes being worn. Getting a consistent gun mount can be very challenging. Often, the butt or recoil pad is mounted on fabric that easily moves around on the shoulder. This awareness should be part of your pre-mount routine. Consistent gun mounts are more important than many realize. A consistent mount not only positions the eye in the right ...

thinking to much about if your gun is right for the job or not can hurt your scores because you are not thinking about breaking the bird. ok that being said a heavier barrel should smooth out your swing. it might make your scores go down for a little time in tell you get used to the added weight. i would say try it play with it if you don't feel comfortable with the change or your scores don't ...

The difference here, between screw in cylinder chokes, (even at the exact same bore diameter), would "usually" be that the screw ins, effect a "trace" of jugchoke to the cylinder bore status. In other words, the shot column gets a very small chance to "expand" just a bit at the bore/choke throat, and then is constricted back to cylinder bore again. Effect is a very slight choke constriction. ...

I would try www.bagmaster.com . They are a smaller, American Company and warranty their prodicts for life. They did some custom modifications in a range bag for a friend of mine. They would probably do what you ask. Here is their hull bag: http://www.bagmaster.com/cart/products/ ... 0Pouch.htm

A VAST majority of shooters (95%+) are shooting a tube set for the small gauges. Some still opt to shoot an autoloader for 12ga and doubles, but even those numbers have dwindled in the last decade or so. I've only ever seen 2 or 3 people try to shoot with 4 different guns, and the results were not pretty (interestingly enough, there have been at least 2 4x4s shot w/ a four gun set of 1100s, ...
