I thank you all to show your appeciation for the photos of all the special Baikals that I posted in the past. I decided to start a "pick of the month Baikal firearm". Here is the first one. It is a " fine tuned" Baikal IZH-27. The gun is in Russia.

One of my favourite shotguns is the Toz-34. Not exactly a Baikal, but it used to be exported as a Baikal in the past. Mine is a base version. The shotgun in the pictures below is not mine (unfortunately). BTW, the USA importer of Toz firearms is www.ssmedwi.com

Has anyone tried to swap barrels on either a 453 or 153. Ihave a 453 with a 28" barrel and I would like either a 26" or even a 24". I need to lose some weight from the frontend due to a shoulder problem. Thanks Rob

Has anyone changed or modified the spring retainer cap on their 153/453. I've had my 453 for a year and it's a great Waterfowl gun,but my only bitch is the cheezy retainer cap.Whenever I slide the forend on or off I've got to watch out, more often than not the retainer cap, plug and spring will fly out of the tube.Anyone one know of a fix or better cap that would work? Thanks. BTW- The factory ...

My dear wife decided to satisfy my O/U interest by buying me a new SPR310 for our anniversary. I should say, "paying for," because she picked out the gun, but I filled out the paperwork. The gun is stiff but appears solid; I plan to relieve (gently) a lot of the sharp edges so my cleaning patches don't pull filaments everywhere. That said, my CZ75B has an equal amount of sharp edges ...

Here's some pics of a Limbsaver I mounted on an SPR310S Thanks to Wi_IT_Guy for the initial directions and idea. The fit was actually VERY good: Back to back view of original recoil pad and a 10702 Limbsaver----VERY close match: Here's the back of the Limbsaver with the plastic fitting tabs filed off and the mounting holes ovaled out a bit to match up ...

Does anyone know of reviews or have comments for barrel regulation on the SPR 220? I'd hate to buy a gun and have the barrels shoot to two different points! _________________ ' Los Estados Unidos de Norteamerica están destinados por la providencia a usurpar los pueblos en nombre de la libertad y la democracia.' - Simón Bolívar, 1928. -bob
