Hole 8. An uphill par 3 that's a little over 180yds, but it's so far uphill I swear it plays like freaking 220. But when I only have 184 to go, my mind does not want me pulling a freaking 3 wood. I got a uncle that has never broke 100, and probably wont...but he loves to play and plays all the time.......he'll play in a tournament in a heartbeat, he just enjoys it.....thats what you have to do...GO FOR IT!

^^^^^So what about those of us who don't keep our handicap are we technically sandbagging? Just kinda wanting to know actually, am I "second" class golfer or something never really cared about that at all..... Just wondering if that's why not many people go out of their way to play with me, either that or they are are intimidated by my roguishly handsome good looks.........

At my home course, #8 is my nemesis. Its only a 9 hole course, so I have to play this hole twice every time I play here. Its a par 4, 485 yard hole with a slight dogleg right. However, there are woods that are OB on the right, and a long thin meandering pond that has fingers that poke out exactly where my balls tend to land. Between the woods and the pond you have a maybe 20yard strip of fairway in which you are supposed to land the ball....

As soon as WBL went back to the G10, he was back to hitting them in the fairway............and nice and long, too. That R9 was not doing him a bit of good.
