The only club that Nickent had that I would bag after seeing them in person is the Arc wedges and blades. Those were cool. The rest just didn't have much of a following for me. Poor shafts, no selection at the retail level and little hype. I suppose the Tour Evolver Special Edition was cool looking too, but then it looked like ass after a couple of rounds when the finish wore off. I suppose that's a recipe for what has transpired....

Martin Kaymer switch to TM.
Published (2009-11-19 07:51:00)
Maybe it was different 20 years ago, but today every company makes same great quality products. I'm sure Phil will have the same short game with Callaway's Xs, Vokey SMs, or TM Z-grooves if match to his specifications. One might have its prefered brands, but they would perform mostly the same anyway. So it is down to who pays more for using their products. I'm sure TW wouldn't mind changing back to TItleist for example if...

The Diablo line seems to have been pretty well received, and most people who I've talked to that have the clubs, love 'em.
I hear the 3-wood is real nice, too.

I noticed a few weeks back that Martin Kaymer is now using TaylorMade clubs (or at least wearing there hat and using there staff bag). I knew he was a Titleist staffer last seaon and though it was strange that I'd not noticed the switch before. Today I have been watching the Race to Dubai final and they had a feature on Kaymer as he is one of 4 players who have a chance of winning the order of ...

Anyone? I've heard such great stuff about the upper lines and how some compare to real top-dollar stuff, just curious if anyone has messed with the lesser expensive stuff.

I have made my own detailed printed yardage books for a couple of courses that I play regularly. How I do it is I go to bing.com and find the course on their maps. The areal photography is awesome on that site. Use the birds eye view and the rotate features to get a good image of the green on my computer screen. Then I use the PrtScn key to bring the image into paint and save it. Then I ...
