I've used all 3 of those sets and the Cobra Pro CB's are heads and sholders the best. Great feel, superb trajectory and good blend of distance, control, workabilty & forgivness with the stock PX shafts (non flighted). For me the titty's are the worse of the group, look great but clicky feel & the original X-Forged have too much weight low down, they launch very high, great feel but with the PX Flighted shafts...

I can't hit one in that low a loft but use a 6-7iron ball position for my 22* and hit it very well. They take some getting used to but once you do they are much better than a long iron. Not better than a fairway wood for me though.

My wife won a $100 Callaway Gift Card at an outing, so between that and the fact that they now have a $100 mail in rebate, it seemed like the thing to pick up. Had been eying one of these to replace my iGolf for a while now, but couldn't justify the $400 price tag. The other reason I was skeptical is that I like the AA battery option in my iGolf over many of the others. Although I picked...

Anyone have any recommendations on these. Looking for one for my wife. She has a Sun Mountain Speed cart and it is for an iGolf. So looking for one that would fit it or a generic one as I do not think they make them specific for an iGolf.

So I finally gave into the hype and started demo'ing some hybrids, but I am kind of perplexed even with the stiff shafts and a nuetral/rightish leaning head I am hitting these things with a weird last minute draw.... Only way I can explain it is that it is similiar to a well struck neutral or "slight" upright draw hit (nomenclature from the evolver/r9's), very high and all is good, then ...

So I'm finally getting tired of hitting my old (2001) Adams Tight Lies GT Tour irons.......any ideas.....went to my local Edwin Watts and I have to say that nothing felt right either the clubs were too much a game improvement iron only or they were full on blades..........played too much for first and not enough for the latter! Will shortening the shaft length on a driver help you to square the face. I can make center contact on my driver all day long, however I am leaving the face a little open on one shot and then a little closed on the next. Just wondering if going from a 45 inch driver to a 44 or a 43. something would help with squaring up the face at impact? Any success/failure stories with trying this?

I won an ebay auction for a Pershing 60gram -S Flex shaft for a driver.. I bid on it, but accidentally won it. I tossed in a cheap bid for the hell of it, and some how won it. It's brand new. I'm thinking about putting it in the tour burner tp, or possibly the R9 to see how it feels. All I can find on it, is it's a pretty lively shaft, easy to load, has high torque, and stable. They say it'...

So I finally got to the range with this thing. I did some work on my swingpath and face angle today but results were quicker/better than I thought. I'm very glad I got the 10.5* in this club. The specs say it's high launch but I hit the SQTP 9.5* as high or slightly higher. The specs also say low spin... and they weren't kidding on that one. It was very wet at the range and balls were still ...

I was loafing thru some OLD threads (circa 2005) and remembered asking about shaft upgrades - seems like I am still asking the same questions, just maybe not as green as before. I remember getting some great advice which I will pass along to whomever might need it. "My second recommend is the NV from Adila. That shaft rocks. Put that in any 460 driver and go down town. I have decided I will not buy any club that has more than 3 letters and numbers in it's name. Di5-good, G10-good, 4dx-good. All the Clubs with excessive amounts of letters and numbers remind me of all the different stupid cars with crazy names. If the letters make a word that's different. Superquad, launcher, speedpro, that's ok. If it's a name followed by 460 or another measurement of headsize ...
