A few things that I've garnered from ECW. 1) Abraham Washington has all the charisma of a dried out turd 2) Sheamus needs a tan, he looks like a rusted albino with that ginger monstrosity on his head 3) I have absolutely no idea what the hell is going on with Vladimir Kozlov. 4) Tyler Reks will end up being like The Rock in the early days, he's too damned nice. 5) They need to use Ezekial Jackson and Paul Burchill. 6) The Bella...

Michelle McCool was a schoolteacher before joining the WWE so it would be sad if she had to look into the camera and say "I am not smarter than a 5th grader".

^Good call on mentioning Luther Lindsay BrooklynBomber, he was a heck of a grappler. And it's cool (to me at least) that he was born in Norfolk, VA, the same place as me. I guess that's besides the point though, lol. Anyways, speaking of Stu Hart, that just made me think to mention Eduardo Miguel Perez. Perez was legit tough guy grappler/shootfighter. He had a like a hybrid style, mixing elements of lucha libre with catch wrestling....

New thread. Note: Any attempts to troll this thread will be deleted and/or reprimanded. If you don't want to actually discuss Pro Wrestling and just come here to insult users, it will be dealt with. For the regulars: For a long time you've gotten leniency due to the nature of how the last few threads have evolved. You've abused the priviledge. So now you get the hard nosed ...

--there's Karl Gotch vs. Lou Thesz, where Gotch breaks Thesz's ribs countering the German suplex and Thesz then goes all out and taps him with a kimura (happened in Detroit, never seen the match, only heard and read about it) --Sayama versus Maeda, where Maeda nails Sayama with a low blow and then walks out on the match --Andre the Giant versus Akira Maeda --Antonio ...

He trains bjj and said that he decided to quit his job and become an mma fighter. He starts off the conversation mentioning Renzo with an R and then starts talking about current ufc fighters and then mentions that guy from Russia Michael crocop... no bullshit. Im trying not to laugh because it was in a business setting but im pretty sure i was smirking the entire conversation.

I'm not taking anything away from striking, it takes a lot of skill, technique, and training to become a proficient striker. But there are some things that grappling has over striking in my opinion at least. 1. You don't get anything by "chance" with a submission. You have to know positioning, transitioning, and proper technique to apply a kimura for example. Anybody can knock anybody out ...

Before you guys hate let me say I am hella serious about this. The reason is that bodybuilders have an advantage over people when it comes to discipline they are very dedicated individuals and they are a grand master in cutting weight and keeping up with there diets. Thus they can cut down to a lighter division without killing themselves unlike other athletes. I meen if...

So, I went to a boxing forum to talk MMA... How'd I do? I think I did okay. Good evening. Have any questions regarding MMA? - East Side Boxing Forum While there was the expected traditional boxing elitist, there did seem to be some good questions thrown out and some solid opinions put forth. What do you think...

With this thread I would like to apologize to Brock/TUF/Ultimate fighting fans. I just realized why I was so annoyed at the afromentioned fans. For some reason I don't think I am the only one in this case, but as an old time fan, by that I mean I started to watch MMA mid 90's and late 90's I was utterly entertained by an organization called Pride Fighting Championship. I ...

Anderson Silva? My guess would be 12-16. You would need 3 for each leg, 2 for each arm, and the others could work the head and body. Miguel Torres? I'd lessen it to 8. Even at 50 pounds each, that's 400 pounds of fightin' five year olds. Clearly a force to be reckoned with. For you youngsters, this was one of the original internet meme's that was actually ...

If you were a UFC fighter, what would you choose as your entrance music? I think i might go with "Shipping Up To Boston" by Dropkick Murphys, proper fighting music. Slight problem that i'm not from Boston, but i live pretty near the original (in Lincolnshire, UK) so it'll do i suppose.
