Arrested is easier to watch. shorter episodes, don't necessarily have to watch them in order.
Dexter, i recommend watching the whole first season in as few sittings as possible. it gets intense and you don't want to stop watching, which is part of the fun.
you really can't go wrong w/ either. i say start on Dexter and watch Arrested when u feel like u need a break from

i have to admit, i love watching the challenges shows for some reason. it's like watching a really f'd up social experiment with drunk hot chicks and jackasses on steroids competing in some of the most awesome
obstacle courses ever. and no, i don't know who trains. i think Kenny wrestled collegiately. i'd love to see someone w/ bjj choke the shit out of CT.
