Just to go over the transparency level just to better explain my point as the company photos don't really put my point across well. If you wear black shorts or a jock under these you will see them plane as day or say for example you hold them up in normal light you can see the screen printed design all the way through the shorts on the other side. However when wearing them you would hardly notice it just something that bothered me to...

Well, it has finally happend. The crotch tore big time. One of the guys I roll with got his thumb caught as I was transitioning from side control to North-South and tore a big hole. So, expect your spandex crotch to last about one year. I went to a fabric store and got some sturdy material. Then took it to a tailor and had the spandex crotch replaced. Ordered this from Kodokan Gear for a steal of a price at $59. They advertise it as being a true BJJ cut and they deliver on that promise. As you can see from the pictures it's cut tightly in all the right places, but it still gives plenty of room for full range of movement. I'll be writing the full review soon. For now I'm uploading the pictures. FYI, I'm 5'11, 165 lbs. The gi is an A3 (however the sizing chart says I SHOULD be an A2--as you can see from the pics there's no way an A2 would fit me). I've had it for about six months and roll with it 2-4 days per week, washing in cold and hang drying after every use. I shrunk the gi an inch or two after getting it.
