I don't know why people even bring in SAMBO as one of his strengths. The guy doesn't even use Sambo anymore. He just cares about his damn hands and that's about it. That guy probably hasn't trained Sambo since his Amateur championship days.

That's a good reason not to like the comparison, but one does have to take into account the utter ease with which Floyd dispatched Marquez. What I get the impression of, is that it's all about two things, one is the jab. Even against Cotto, Manny got hit by the jab whenever Cotto threw it...and badly. I'm really interested in this fight.
I like seeing that Jones looks good in the ring again.
He blew out guys like Sheika and Lacy who are still good fighters (puts into perspective Calzaghe's blowout of Jones).
I also like Danny Green. I think I first heard of him after his fight with Mundine. Never got a chance to watch a fight live (on tv) until he fought Julio Cesar ...

Real welterweights don't demand a 145 weigh-in. If Mosley gets by Berto, he's got a style to beat Pac. Lots of physical strength to smother Manny and keep him moving back.
