Anybody got any cool stories about boxers they have met? Ive met George Chuvalo and Micky Ward, both super nice guys, Micky signed a glove for me. Terry Norris is coming to a fight show my boxing club is holding on Nov. 7, so i'll try to get some pictures.. Anybody else have any stories about boxers they have met?

I was watching Inside the NFL lastnight and they had Packer's 1st round bust (possibly biggest NFL draft bust of all time.... if you think he was more hyped than Ryan Leif) Tony Mandarich on. And they mentioned a comment he had made about wanting to box. I read a bit more up on it and it sounded like he challenged Mike Tyson. Curious if anyone had more info on this.

Whatchu thing of this match actually happening. They both have a strong fan base, and can potentially be bigger than the De La Hoya vs. Mayweather superfight. A lot of money can be made if this fight were to happen.

I was thinking about this the other day and now I see some similarties between these two guys in their respective careers...Gomi of course has done more for MMA than Judah has for boxing, but when I look at specific details in their careers I think theyre comparable...both are talented and gifted fighters who are very exciting to watch, but both have taken some bad losses in their careers i.e. ...

It changes its TV approach. Boxing will suffer unless it changes TV approach - Boxing - Yahoo! Canada Sports Kevin Iole wrote a very interesting article today on yahoo. He addresses many valid points regarding the landscape of boxing and how it needs to change or boxing will suffer in the long-term. What are your thoughts?
