Perhaps a course in assetiveness would help with turning down projects that don't pay/pay enough. If you're so ready to turn down reciprocal work, you will be missing a trick. There is far more to it than credits and by lines. But that is your choice, of course. The successful charity that is run entirely by volunteers is a very rare beast. If you want to do your best for a cause you need skilled workers. Skilled workers don't...

Sorry jezzyjj, I gave up arguing with people on forums along time ago, and I really cant be doing with it. I came here to offer advice to somebody, if you don't like what I've said then disagree with some manners or bite your tongue. Arguments in forums are won by the people with the most time on their hands, unfortunately thats not me.

Hi Toodlepip, Just wanted to add that if you did want to "study" photography that Norton College run very good courses and have excellent facilities and equipment that will allow you access to all sort of cameras and printing techniques you might otherwise never get a chance to try. Also by doing such a course you will have to try out all sorts of different types of photography for your various assignments therefore helping...

Hi, not all the links on here still work and it's really intended for Olympus users, but the principals still apply. See Also and Here Don't forget to make sure no-one falls over your tripod and brings the whole lot crashing down. Also the little red LED torches or cycle REAR lamps are your friend as they don't affect night vision as much as white ones. Have a good time too.

Buying an SLR as a gift is very difficult, the way the camera sits in the hands of the user can make or break the deal. Far better for your friend to get his wife to a camera shop to try a few different bodies.

If you like landscapes then why bother with a DSLR camera.
Save up for a medium format SLR camera.
The results are way better than digital and you can scan them into your computer if you want.
A lot of photographers are going back to film now, for this very reason. When you have made shed loads of money, then you can buy a digital back for your camera.

This is also absolutely brilliant. I've got into photography over the last few years and these pictures are truly superb. Very inspirational and rather jealous of some of the location's. Well recommended!!!

Don't buy the plustek optic film. The scans are horrendous and useless for any slides which originally have lots of shadow detail as every type of noise will creep into your scan. Even scanning at the max resolution 350mb files and higher still leaves a lot to be desired plus the bundled silverfast software has a mind of its own and can give totally unwanted results. Now I've made the transition ...

Are you asking for girls and/or photographer?
Your thread title is saying you need a photographer, yet in the actual post you are asking for two girls!?

Great pictures - I especially like the first one (is that a 'ghost-mast centre left?)
The setting of the second one with the stones would have been better with a little separation between the 3rd stone and the pier. My opinion only!
The third I like too, but the first is best of the three. Well done.
