Have you posted on dogs missing on the RSPCA website or dog lost ?? If you have any problems with the dog lost site, contact seadog on the Forum, she's a co-ordinator for them. Good luck - I'll keep my fingers crossed she turns up soon.

Dog hair, any ideas?
Published (2009-11-27 18:49:00)
Give him a little hair band, as is popular with footballers? No idea what you'd make it out of though- human ones would be way too big. Alternatively put a couple of 'sleepy' hair slides or grips in the front of his hair, although at the moment you have no proof that he will put up with any of these things in his hair have you?

I'm squashed, I tell you, squashed!!!!! I played with electric recliner and got myself all comfy. Bishop has settled himself on the other sofa (I do hope he's allowed on there), with his head on a convenient cushion. Honey prefers to use me as a pillow, she's crushing my right hip and thigh, but I think she's quite comfortable, and her ears are nice and convenient for stroking.

This Sunday at Heeley branch was originally designated to Cat Abuse Treatment Society but Jackie has had a terrible week with the sanctuary being flooded and her volunteers have spent long hours there trying to dry out carpets, furniture, walls etc. They are still there as we speak. It was her intention to take Star, the badly disabled kit she rescued earlier this year, to Pets@Home as he would...

i certainly wouldnt leave a dog in a crate for that long, and 4-5 hrs is a long time for a dog to go without going out to do a wee etc.,dont you have any other family member or friend who could nip in to let the dog out to do its biz ?

I have a great big stack of carpet tiles if they can be of any use to any rescue centres. They were from a church clearout so the carpet is a little rough but would be great for insulation with a sheet over the top. I dont have any transport so they would need to be collected from Dronfield. But if you can collect you can have them. Just pm me for details.

Is this a complete surprise litter? Poor you! I dont believe they can be KC registered. Certainly not through the normal channels that you register a pup. You might want to give your vets a ring on monday with regards to whether they need a cheak up (my new pup has been for cheak up when it was a few days old but that mightt have been coz she went in to have a dew claw off so was going in ...

No its not you at all. Your dog was under control, theirs wasnt, simple. I feel for you, some people simply have no idea and they wouldnt have laughed if your dog had managed to get a bite in, they would be screaming for vets bills. By the sound of it I think they laughed, as they were embarrassed.
