Very small world Dont suppose you can find out anything about Imogene Louisa Tuckers birth can you. My new found and brilliant friend on here is helping me do the tree but so far no luck finding her birth records.

Best bet would be to order the marriage certificate for 1902 and it usually says formally known as........ if there was a previous marriage.

Why would going to see him betray your mum ??
The way I see it is, your mum has told you where he is so she might be kind of wanting you to go and see him ??
If she really didn't want you to see him, she wouldn't have told you where he is at all..
If I were in your shoes, I think curiosity would get the better of me and I'd have to go and see him.. Not necessarily to speak to him, but go...

I clearly remember receiving the stainless pen-knife . I think the girls got a sewing kit. additionally we all got a replica of a coin,made of chocolate, maybe 3" diameter. This was May 12th. 1937, when I was 9 yrs. old

The buildings were originally Firth College, built in 1879. Firth College subsequently amalgamated with several other Sheffield colleges to become the University of Sheffield in a new building on Western bank.
The buildings on Leopold street were then used partly for the City Grammar School and partly for the Council Education offices.
