Barsnley for all there recent good form are only 8 points in front of us and with half the season left is nothing really at that end of the table. Like i said in a post a few week's ago, January is a massive month for us, we play Barnsley at Oakwell on the 16th so that gives us a chance to catch them up. Not to mention Peterborough, Scunthorpe and Plymouth all squeezed in there. It's going to be an emotional old month either way and...

Cant say i agree but dont rule Plymouth or Posh having a good run, recent form is good. Corker, Barnsley would have to have a major slump in form to fall below the Owls. Scunthorpe and 2 others to go down for me.

yea, agree with that. could do with someone with abit of power, clarke could be that player but i don't think he's good enough either. i don't think varney has done enough to warrant spending a fee on him anyway

Did anyone catch the football league show? The opening line was
" Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle United are arguably the two biggest clubs in the championship.."
Guess the BBC presenters must be deluded as well, eh

We did deserve the win over the game, Preston didn't look at all interested today, and without Sean St Ledger it'd have been more comfortable. Still not a good blades performance though after a decent start, a poor game not helped by two equally poor referees.
Special praise to Del Geary though for an excellent display, really good to see him back and buzzing again... particularly while ...

out of all the other candidates id have him, but that said, the other candidates dont exactly fill me with joy. who knows, he could do something, id like to see how mcauley manages the next couple of games, he was on the touchline non-stop against newcastle screaming orders, could be a good manager.
