Beth, we call those chinese noodle candy! I actually have some chow mein noodles in my pantry because I've been meaning to make them. I didn't make the peanut butter candies last night. I made cookies with the girls (posted the pic of my "helpers" on FB) and then was too tired. I have a cold so am feeling a bit run down. I'm making some of these this year: Mix things up! « bakerella.com I bought the Christmas M&M's and found tree shaped jars at Target for $4.99 to put them in - Tree Shaped Jar and since the top holds stuff as well, I'm going to put different candy in the top. I was trying to find something nice but economical to make for the 3 teachers in Emma's classroom as well as the crossing guard. Might go get more and make...

I got some tins from Walgreens and the girls and I are making some cookies and goodies for the holidays and giving those. I'm also making some bread for myMom, Dad, FIL/MIL, BIL and SIL, my brother and his wife. Then for the little ones I'm making playdough. I got some cookie cutters and sperating those among them. We also went to BedBathand beyond and looked at ther front part with there fun $5.99 to $9.99 gifts.

Beth that's funny about going to the bathroom to use bathroom talk. I have a feeling that would backfire here. Angela, Zeon has been like that too. Mimicking me that is. He tells Keigan 'I told you' or yesterday he was saying in a very stern voice 'I'm angry Keigan, I'm angry'. It certainly makes me realize how silly some of the expressions I use are when I'm scolding him!!

LOL, thanks Stacey. I know now what you're talking about. It's funny because when something is called haystacks, I immediately think of a taco salad thing with fritos, chili beans, lettuce, tomato, onion, black olives, sour cream, and salsa. Those are haystacks to me, haha.

Thanks gals! Oh, I'd love to see the price on the emeril ones but they aren't currently being sold on Amazon. That's a great deal on the caphalon ones, but I am in complete agreement that they are too heavy. I think I want to go with something a little less heavy. I'm afraid I would break a tile (or many tiles) on our floor! GAAH!!!

Stacy- It wouldn't be a big deal if we didn't get Jay's sister and husband anything, his side of the family really doesn't care so we could definitely do a couples gift or something very small there, but my sister is absolutely ridiculous about gifts...she doesn't want to exchange names, and she doesn't want to do a whit elephant type exchange either...she likes giving and getting gifts...and they don't have...

I just found in parents magazine. To get green felt(cut out like a pine tree) then to get those small pom-poms and glue them on. Put a whole on the top and add ribbon to make there how Christmas orniment. I need to go in my basement and find all that.
We like making sugar cookies and decorating them. Which I so can't wait for.
I also print off a lot of coloring pages for the girls....

But I have heard of these parties! I don't have enough old gold to really make anything, but I can see how people would. You'll have to let us know if you decide to have a party and what the outcome is! Doesn't the host get a small cut of everyone's gold too? Seems like I heard that somewhere.

That happened to us at our old house. But the squirrel dies and thankfully we had it removed before it was stinky. The sound of it scratching is sooo annoying! Hope you can fix it today before it realizes what a nice, warm, and cozy house it's found!

I need to get Matt's present online today but I don't think it's on sale. I don't find the cyber Monday deals to be that great. A lot of places aren't even giving free shipping with them. And TRU sale is the worst for cyber Monday! I am so disappointed! I do need to get going making Shutterfly books for the grandparents! Must do that today!

Oh my gosh, that is exactly what I bought him from Craigslist! Now I can see what pieces are missing. She told me the ladder from the truck was missing, but so is the hose and two of the blue "lights" as well as the doors on the side of the firestation. Must be missing some men, 2 chairs and an axe or 2 as well.
I love the $30 I paid for it and if you can swing the $154, you won't ...

Noah has gotten only a bit more picky lately, but we had NO problems at TG with him. We all got quite a good laugh instead. My brothers fiance has a little girl a yr older than Noah and she is extremely picky so much that they have to make her drink pediasure daily. Noah ate "chicken", dressing, candied yams, cranberry salad, rolls, and dessert! He eats like he is in a hotdog eating contest ...

I don't have any good suggestions since I desperately need a new set too but our good friends bought the Rachel Ray ones and they hate them. They said that they aren't very non-stick even though they say they are and their set the outside color started flaking off three months after they bought. They don't know if it was just their set that was faulty but they refuse to buy anymore of her ...

Noah has been in a full sized bed for a while and does great. He gets up only to get in bed with us. Usually thats in the morning, but occasionally it's around 4.
