Worn Out

I don't know about you guys, but just the short trip to MIL's and then having dinner at home with my family really wore me out yesterday. Given, I did do A LOT of cooking so I was on my feet pretty much all morning. I was soooo tired in general. Thankfully, the kids were too and they pretty much let me sleep uninterrupted. How did everyone else fare? What about the Black Friday shoppers, get any good deals?

I got Dh a laptop at walmart for 198 (provided I was in line at midnight!) I did however get a folding chair so I wouldnt have to stand, I also got a new touch screen camera and a 7 piece bed in a bag for $35! Thankfully I didnt have to cook this year so I went home after going over to my aunts house for turkey day and slept early!

We have an appointment for a 4D u/s on Saterday. All of a sudden it feels like the time is dragging by. It feels like the days just never end! LOL It wasn't like this before we started appointments with the midwife, but since that first appointment it's like the time is just passing soooo slowly between appointments. Does everyone still feel like their pgs are flying by, or does it feel like the clocks stopped for you too?

Help! Turkey Question
Published (2009-11-24 19:46:00)
Ok, so I bought our turkey this past Saturday, 22 pounds and completely frozen. I brought it home and put it in the fridge. Is it ok, I don't want to die if we eat it. It is almost thawed, still frozen a little. I am a freak about meat. I think it's ok, I just need reassurance from experienced turkey ladies out there. Sounds fine to me. I always end up with the opposite problem where its still too frozen when I need to cook it...then I'm worried it won't cook right. Luckily this year, I am NOT cooking

Hospital Roomies
Published (2009-11-25 04:38:00)
The hospital I delivered my last 3 at had a lot of private rooms and only 2 shared rooms. The only time you had to share was if the private rooms where all packed. That actually happened after I had my last baby by c section. That night they were so full that I had to share with another woman who had had a c section as well. The next day we were both moved to private rooms as they became available. The worst part was DH couldn't stay with...

The hospital where I delivered my 2 kids and will deliver this baby has a very nice maternity ward. All the rooms are private, it's really nice. I had a good experience each time and I hope to this time as well.

Um, I'm not the most experience here, but if it's still partially frozen, I'm gonna think that it's probably fine. I mean, meat has a date on it for a reason right? So say a package of chicken could potentially spend a week in the fridge and still be good. Maybe someone else would know a little better.

We are on the in-laws side this year, at my husband's aunts house. It is fun but getting a tad crowded. So this may change in the next year or so. Everyone is having too many kids! I am bring Buffalo Chicken Dip appetizer and apple pie.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. You can not give your child the initials A.S.S. Seriously, think of all of the paperwork that you just initial.
Kids are mean too, they figure this stuff out. No, no, no.
Maybe you could compromise and do 2 middle names AMSS. But seriously - hell no.

Oooh, I forgot about the picture taking outfit. That's a good one. I had taken a stuffed animal for the previous babies, but that was before the whole flu thing. So maybe not a good idea this time. If we take one it will be because it's been a common stuffed toy that all of the babies will have had some pics taken with in the hospital.
