I was wondering whether or not this was worth a new thread, and then MagiMike posted his picture of the electric personal assistive mobility cooler. I was gliding home one evening a couple of weeks ago when I saw a guy on a tricycle approaching at a pretty good speed. He stopped me to extol the virtues of his YoScooter. He said he's the local distributor and I was looking at the first ...

It will confuse the unstabilized masses if you tool around town with a propane tank on your Segway! Is it my imagination, or has your prose become more, well, prose in form of late? A shift in artistic style? Or has reading your posts effected a shift in the reader, perhaps? Curious about your story, should you care to share. I hope you enjoyed your crab in style!

It's been a Very Long Time, but if you pose your question or problem, I'd at least be interested. Whether I could be helpful or not? Hard to say. If it's something simple, or if I can ask the right questions, maybe. I've been thinking about writing a simulator, to I could see if I could write a controller... but too busy.

I am getting closer to making a decision on which Segway to purchase. I have just about finished convincing myself that it makes some sense and since I own a bunch of things that dont make any sense already it would make a nice addition to my fleet and add some balance. I am interested in how people transport their Segways. Do you use a lift like a Segvator, a set of ramps or brute ...

I am about 1 of 4 segway gliders on the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus. Most like me are faculty and the most famous being the chancellor. I saw security testing the behemoth 3-wheelers the other day and not a day later everyone kept telling me how security is riding segways now. apparently these cost almost double that of segway. I see the value in hauling but if they are going up ...

I haven't started even looking at Segways yet, but will soon. My problem is an old motorcycle injury to my right ankle which has gotten worse over the years. I find that I have about one mile of walking left per day, then the pain gets intolerable. I am hoping that a Segway will let me walk my small dog and do some of the other things I need to do so I won't aggravate my ankle. We have a fifth-...

Today, the building in which my company, Kaiser Permanente, is a tenant, and in which I work, banned Segways from entering. I had been commuting on my Segway for several days. Initially, building security wanted me to take my Segway up the freight elevator, but because access to that was restricted, and I would have had to constantly call on security in order to go in and out of the building,...

I have a two month Segway Tour Business. I left my fleet of i180s for 10 months plugged in and when I came back two batteries had died on me (red lights). I know I should be using them during this time but my tours are in WI and I live in CA. If I have to leave them again for an extended period, what should I do?

Hi guys Firstly, I'm guessing the answer to my question is no, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway. Is it possible to have your Segway's software (Gen1) rolled back to an earlier version? E.g., from 12.0 to 10.0, 14.x to 12.0, etc. I'm guessing it is technically possible, but INC control the software and it's probably only one way. And there are obviously safety issues in ...

In the USA, the Segway I2 will cost you about 5350 dollar. In Europe a new I2 will cost you 5950 euro = 8750 dollar (incl 19% tax; 5000euro/7300dollar without tax). So the price difference is 3450 dollar. When I ignore the huge taxes in the Netherlands, price difference is still 7300-5350= 1950 dollar. Can anyone explain who will put this 1950 dollar in his pocket? The USA taxes, Segway...
