Yes, manually as in right-clicking the image and see what are its properties. It should be displayed there, the location URL of the image, the alternate text (if there is an alt attribute for the image), and the title (if there is a title attribute for the image).

Directory submission only helps your site getting indexed, back links and keywords rank it will never give your site a high PR, so don't focus in directory submission instead focus on commenting in a high PR site and do follow site.

How sure your are that you can rank immediately a certain site? SEO is not a process of showing good result in immediate short period of time. I think SEO is more effective if you show excellent long time result. In SEO, we are not just talking on the credibility of rankings but we are talking also on how effective the site on having traffics. There are lot of pointers to consider in dealing SEO...
