Does it matter what government spends its money on? The interstate highway system is a good example of government spending that brings a good return in that it allows better good and services to travel across markets efficiently. China for example is building lots of nuclear power plants. Buying raw materials like steel and concrete now while the prices are low makes sense.

There are power plants using natural gas, and lots of busses and such use it.
It is less convenient. That's about it. Busses have to put the tanks on top, and have to return to where there is a high pressure " fueling station."
If you happen to have a natural gas "fueling station" near you, you can get a dual fuel conversion kit for a couple of grand. The tanks take up room in your ...

Unfortunately, it was a compilation of things. This happened primarily because of the no document loans that were being provided to people buying homes. There were also people investing in the housing market, which inflated the value of homes to levels far above what they were actually worth.

Feed the pig. a in piggy bank.
Greed meets stupid. would define the economy.
derivatives should also be looked at. it allows companies to hide the risk they are taking.
Fine if you want to loan some the money and you take the risk. its criminal to then bundle these up and mix the risk up so much that no one knows what they are buying.
