Thank you for the advice. And yes, I am both new to Scubatoys, to the forum and to diving (did my first non-certification dive this past weekend). Anyway, thanks to all who wrote. I went back to the store today and they made it right. I'm back to being a happy camper (or diver) and appreciated the advice to be a little bit more aggressive.... thanks again.

Well, since you brought up syntax and grammer... I hate that kind of crap too. My sister is an English and Spanish teacher, and used to hammer me constantly, until I corrected here on a very technical error. However, my native lanquage being hillbilly, I'm very greatful for that now. As for the folks being nice here, yes they are. I'm also a little sad that I come across as an a**hole, a lot...

Wow, that sucks! Sorry to hear your trip fell through. I can kind of understand where Blackbeard is coming from .... they'll only put you in if they can't sell the space, since it was too late for them to fill your space when you didn't show up. But then again, giving you such a short window seems to make it almost impossible to work out the travel. Sounds like a total catch-22 .... hope you get ...

Interesting question here would be, Larry/Joe, whats your business % (not $, just a #) of on-line vs walk in (reg customers) store sales? How do you guys feel about on-line certifications? Now think of the little independent, that is trying to survive. Won't be long till on-line, (dive clubs?,,,,,,,,forget about it.......... LDS won't be there) is the only option.

This makes me think of something else that bothers me which people do when driving and it is one of my biggest pet peeves. YIELD SIGNS AND STOP SIGNS ARE NOT EQUAL!!!!! IF THEY WOULD HAVE WANTED YOU TO STOP THEY WOULD HAVE PUT UP A STOP SIGN!!! It bugs the CRAP out of me for someone to come up to the end of an on-ramp of a highway or interstate and STOP as if there is a stop sign there. ...

What I hate is when you go into a store in late September/early October and they already have Christmas stuff all over the shelves. Drives me insane when you are still basically a month from Halloween and you are being inundated with X-mas stuff.
