Quality is exactly the same. The difference between the SEs and the "numbered" is a matter of design and fit. The SEs are shoulder entry, and more or less require someone to zip you in and out of the suit and tend toward a baggier fit. The "numbered" series are designed to be self donning, and the
telescoping torso allows for a snugger fit.

I really like all the Whites gloves I've tried. They make a 3 finger mit
for really
cold water too. I also have a pair of Aqualung gloves that are 5
mil but those don't seem to be as warm. The Whites gloves are prebent and I
find them really comfortable. This is all just my opinion YMMV.

I don't know anything about the Henderson h2 but I can say my
Akona 7mm has
served me well. I have well over 100 dives on it and it still keeps me
warm. I've done everything from ice dives on up with it.

CD4 is a
neoprene,I used to just wear a sweater and jeans under my neoprene.
Diving trilam now,a 3 mm is fine in the pool, wouldn't want to do it in COLD water.

We are looking into the possibility of taking a
quick trip in August also. We plan at least 1 - 2 days in Beqa. I am also interested in the wetsuit issue. I was planning a 1 mm under my 3 mm with a hood and vest just in case. When are you in Pacific Harbor? Where are you staying?

well Bill, if you are looking for a stretchy warm suit, I can recommend Pinnacle. The lining is
nice and warm and the elastoprene really stretches. I own and dive a .5mm, 3mm and a 7mm and have been down in the 40's with the 7 and been toasty and mobile. I might add I'm not a fan of henderson suits. Take a look at the pinnacle, it can't hurt.
A DRBill fan.

The two-layer one I dive had a waist seam start to separate at my back (where a belt would cross my spine if I were wearing normal clothes), but that was trivial. I haven't had a flood, but both of mine have been quite damp after some hot-and-cold
dives (40°F at depth, >85°F in the shallows) and they weren't chilly on the second dive.

I have always been a fan of Bare Wet and Drysuits but I find there wetsuits above a 3mil are famouus for splitting sideways at the knee above or below the protective knee patches. That said I have been looking at water proof capri product Waterproof - Sweden .I like some of the features it has such as the wrist and front neck zippers.
Have done a bit of research
here and elsewhere and not ...
