That screw you're seeing is probably holding the dial face onto the movement. Generally one has to reposition the...

Is it possible to buy the threaded red battery plugs from Teckna as replacements now that Ocean Edge is no longer around? Will they fit since the only difference is the software and not the actual hardware??? Thanks for your help,

Hi folks, I'm using a serial cable rather than a USB and although I've managed to get a successful download happening on my son's computer I'm unable to get anything happening on 3 other PCs that I've tried! I keep getting the error message 'Device Type 1 not found' each time I run the Gekko2Vyper.exe! I'm using v3.0 of the exe dated april 08. Has anyone else experienced the same error message?...

This should be interesting. It's a factory defect. Uwatec would swap it out with you as soon as the dealer sent it back, however you didn't get it from a Uwatec dealer, so the unit has no Uwatec warranty. Any SCUBAPro or Uwatec products purchased at LP have to go back to LP for service. Unfortunately, LP has no way to fix this. This means that either LP eats the cost of the computer, ...

I have supplied Cobra 2's to a couple of my students in the past and they have had nothing but problems with them. Even the replacement units that came from Suunto went south within months of being used. One went off completely and was replaced only to repeat the same fault. The second unit consistenly reads tank pressure incorrectly. the replacement is doing the same again.

I have a MacBook Air (which I took to the GBR a couple of weeks ago) and a Uwatec Smart Com. I also have a kick-ass Asus computer I built and for laughs, loaded Vista. Then I bought the following from a FleaBay auction site. It works with both Vista (after installing the drivers) and on my Mac (OS 10.5.X) with no drivers needed. NEW USB 2.0 IRDA-4220 (16Mbps) (SUPPORT VISTA)FREE S&H...
