Atmos AI lockup
Published (2009-07-02 08:44:00)
Only other reason I can think of is low battery. What time frame are these 100 dives covering? I'd either take it to your local DS to see if they can open it, or contact Aeris (I've had great customer service from them).

ACI 2.2.0 Vista - move data to...
Published (2009-06-27 02:25:00)
Hi Dennis, Oh, okay. I thought you combined the data from both. My misunderstanding. Hopefully, the engineers who work on the program will eventually come p with import and export functions that are compatible so data can be combined, especially from multiple computers - so all dive data can be in one file even if one switches to another dive computer. Anyway, thanks for the response. Jim

I had the same issue while it was transferring data to my PC and the cable got pulled out. The only way to get it back was to pull out the battery.

Atmos Elite Wrist mount - removal
Published (2009-07-02 16:54:00)
Got a reply back from Aeris on this. Here's what they had to say: Quote: The Atmos Elite wrist boot is actually three pieces: two separate wrist strap halves, and the rubber boot that surrounds the computer module. Each half of the wrist strap is attached to the computer module using spring-loaded pins, just like a standard wristwatch strap. To remove the straps, use a small flat bladed jewelerÂ’s screwdriver to compress one end of the...

Atmos AI low battery when cold
Published (2009-06-28 10:42:00)
This is a frequent observation on this model, we have 2. The nature of the power-up cycle puts a heavy drain on the battery and a cold battery has less capacity. The other notable fact is that the battery of choice is the Sony version of the type number. While you can get them from others like Energizer and Duracell the output curves are not as good a match during start-up. If the battery level shows a full charge once in operation it is...

ACI 2.2.0 Vista - move data to...
Published (2009-06-26 23:51:00)
Sorry, I must not have been clear about the situation. I bought the laptop for use in the trip I'm starting tomorrow morning. There was no 'real' data on the laptop until the move was completed. I wanted to move my data intact from the desktop to the laptop. Because of the virtual directories, I first had to create information on the laptop by downloading dives and configuration information from the T3. Once the directories were...

New compumask guy...
Published (2009-06-29 22:43:00)
As promised, an update on my compumask. I LOVE IT!!! I am a much better diver because of it. No fumbling around for a console, my ascent rate is micromanaged, safety stops are exact...just great. Only problem I have is getting the mask to download to my laptop dive log. Seems like everytime is a peck fest trying to get it to link up. Would be nice if Aeris would publish a step by step checklist of what to plug in when, turn on next and what...

Atmost AI lockup
Published (2009-06-29 23:33:00)
I have an aeris atmos ai and it has been great for over 100 dives. I use the USB cable to download the dives using the latest version of the areis software. After a 5 dive day today, I was able to download the dives just fine. Afterwards, the computer itself locked up showing all the LCD symbols with no response to button pushes. I have since attempted to remove the battery cover with no success. In fact, I actually cracked the plastic on one...

Atmos AI lockup
Published (2009-07-03 16:45:00)
During a download, the PC s/w puts the dive computer into a download mode, downloads the data, then tells the dive computer to go back to surface mode. The divecomputer has a timer such that if it hasn't "heard" from the PC in 120 seconds, it will revert back to surface mode on its own in 120 seconds. So if the PC was in the middle of downloading and the cable comes loose, in 120 seconds, the AtmosAI should go back to...

Anyone have any instructions/advise on how to remove the Atmos Elite from its wrist mount boot? I'm looking at the bungee mount option but need to confirm that the Atmos Elite can be pulled from its existing mount. Thanks

Just got my Compumask and got to wondering... Is it compatible with chlorinated, pool water? Is there a way to turn it off other than pushing the side button? Seems to me that it goes into a sleep mode, with the computer still running. Any ideas on how to bungee cord or otherwise attach that expensive dude to my body? Love the concept, obviously, but will know lots more after end of ...

Hi Guys, I noticed that my Atmos AI shows a low battery signal when its cold outside, i.e. 15c, but its fine when it warms up a bit, say around 19c. Anyone else seen this? Its only started getting cold around here in the last couple weeks and it happened for the first time about 5 mins before a dive. Wasnt the most confidence inspiring thing... I've only had it for about a year but...

Howdy, On longer dive trips the dive data was rolling off my Elite T3 before I could get it uploaded to my desktop computer (Vista Ultimate) at home. I bought a cheap laptop (Vista Basic) so that I could upload dive data after each dive and so keep the Dive Sample Rate at 2 seconds. I would like to move the data I've already collected, as well as configuration information, from desktop...

I just started diving. In fact this past weekend I just completed confined water diving training (PADI). I have few questions about 5 Oceans BC I am using. 1. There is no obvious place for fixing "fixed" pockets for weights. Pockets come in a bag and one is supposed to install them on their own. Obviously there is no manual to go with it and one online is not appropriate. I've put them ...

I have an Aeris Atmos 1 Console computer that I would like to wrist mount and use as a backup computer. Does anyone know where I can purchase a wrist console for this computer or has anyone had any luck making their own? I see that their a wrist mount for the Atmos 2 on Aeris's website but I dont know if this would work. Any idea?

Trident inflator on Atmos XT? I despise the inflator on my Atmos XT, I have trouble hitting only deflate when wearing gloves. I've spoken to reps at two Aeris authorized shops and one says that a Trident inflator assembly will work fine with my XT and the other states it categorically will not. Which is true? I don't ...
