Just checked one out, great piece of kit! The version that was on show was really well equipped, and it was really STEALTHY in black..... Tried the coupé version of the S3 last year and it was quite rocking, but the word is that the Sportback is a wee bit more balanced.

Bought another merc recently. Ebay of course, and frankly I was embarrassed at the amount I paid for it considering its condition and history. Hi, I'm looking to replace my 2004 Polo tdi with something similar, but new. Any recommendations around the £10k mark? I would get another Polo, but this model has been around for ages now. I would like a new car as I do quite a high mileage (20k ish).

He's thinking a 147 as it has a smaller, cheaper engine - he doesn't do too many miles - but will also have enough room for 5 should we go up to nan's etc. For one that's about 4 - 6 years old what are the common problems to be looked out for. Ok just won a 205 1.9 gti on ebay for the grand total of £715 iv wanted one for the last couple of years but never realy got round to getting one iv had a 1.6 gti about ten years ago and remember loving it and regreting selling it when the time come the question is am i going to still love the 205 for the fun factor or am i going to think ,what a shed, and throw the rose tinted ...

Only 410? I bet that that struggles... 400 in an eight wheeler is still pedestrian laden...

prefer something smaller but not sure what to get. just for winter - so main car can be garaged till summer. prefer petrol - and not going to do many miles 306 ? octavia ? would I get an old focus for £1k ? cheers David

I'm changing jobs and I've a choice of either a BMW or an Audi. Not too sure of the exact model at the moment, but I gather they'd be compareable to each other in price/specification. My guess is that they will be a 320d estate and an A4 (1.9tdi or 2.0 tdi) probably an estate again. Anyone had these? Which is the better car and why?...

You just need to learn how to feed in the power with that much through the front wheels. Plenty of big turbo golfs/octavias/leons etc with that power that manage

Proper Shogun = Shogun Sport = Old tech, old engines, decent off road but not much else to say about them. How much do you have to spend?

I love the 911 kits - I think the company is called Covin!?!? They look really good, would be hard pushed to tell the difference between an original and one of these (although I'm no expert on 911's). Have seen a couple on flea bay for not so silly money!

Has any one got one of these? I have just ordered a brand new one as i need a large car for the 2 kids and 2 dogs etc, thought they looked great, have read good reviews about them as well, what do the owners say (if there are any?)
