I need to run a coax cable from one side of the room to the other, and the normal cable will look naff under the carpet. I've seen thin coax cable listed in maplins, but recommended for short lengths. Is there a thin cable available for my purpose ? or any alternatives ? cheers sean

as above it sounds as if your bulbs are rated higher than the transformer so first of all check the VA which is basically the max output so 20va max bulb 20w if you exceed the output the bulb wont be any brighter but will overload the transformer and thermal cutout will operate if this is ok ..bin the transformers and replace

...or should I say where to avoid? So who does everyone recommend for good quality with value for money? MFI, Wilkes, Howdens, Magnet? Looked in B&Q and thought they were garbage...

I would like to try takingon an ambitious project, and soundproof our party wall in the lounge (for starters). Id also like to mount the TV (46" LCD) onto the original wall before doing the soundproofing plasterboarding, so the telly sitsd almost flush within the new wall. Ive found a decent looking solution Wall Soundproofing Solution 2: Resilient Bars which would allow the new ...

Wife is muttering about a new c/h boiler for next year, present one works fine but is at least 35 yrs old. I believe that there is some formula or other that is used in order to work out what size of boiler is required ? Could someone please tell me. Thanks JBL

Hi, i'm no spark but I've got a charger or something with this type of connector, but can't remember what, hence my interest I've also got these on my speakers and have found somethong that may help in Maplins. L64BA 2 pin din lead hope this helps, let us know if its or Mike
