Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST)) hmm we need a place to annouce lukewarm news too Still I think this is the better place - sort of - well its a place at least but -- wolves are now grandparentless... I just lost my last grandparent, my grandfather, though I cannot say that its a totally sad event, he was suffering badly from alzheimers and it seemed that he was going down a lot faster in more...

Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST)) Oh, you can make it their problem, if they start harassing you, calling at work, notifying neighbors, etc. That sort of thing, if you drop a word in the proper ears, can get their little patty-paws scorched rather badly. Or you can send them a "cease-and-desist" letter (making sure you do it with a return-receipt request form), and keep a...

A lovely cool day today unlike Sunday. Was very nice. Meant to be getting hot again by the end of this week. I do love the Australian summer... until people with air con start complaining about the heat and then I just want to yell at them to shut up cause I don't have air con.

The Treatment Plant. Deep in the bowels of the chron, a rarely-used door creaks open on a gloomy, stinking vision.
Massive pipes descend from the roof into a series of settling tanks and the foetid air is filled with the rumble of pumps. Just to add to the atmosphere, a handful of flickering fluorescent tubes seem almost to augment the gloom. Nice Orange One here ? "If...

What a day. It started out very hot and humid around 29 but at about 4pm a wonderful storm swept through bringing lightening and thunder and plenty of much needed rain, it was great, the weather dropped dramatically and was much needed respite from the humidity.
