The fantasy collaborative cliche novel Okay, I stole this idea from another website, but it was part of a weekly blog there, and died after seven days passed, as the next blog topic was underway.
So, now that I have given at least anonymous credit for an idea that is not my own, I thought this was such a good idea that it might be one of those threads that goes on, and on, and ...

Re: What non SFF shows do you watch? I was watching The Office but, while not exactly getting bad, the spark seems to have gone out. I watched Life but they moved it around and cancelled it.
If it wasn't for ( NFL) football, I'd probably get rid of my TV but, since I've got one, I'll probably watch Dollhouse next season, though that's genre.

Re: Just A Few Christmas Giggles Now that counts as a revival of a thread!!!! Can't imagine why it hasn't been resurrected each year...
Did you hear about the Scotsman who gave his son an empty box for christmas, and told him it was an Action Man Deserter?

I really like this question. My partner heard it on the radio earlier today and I thought it'd be interesting to ask you lovely geeks what you think?
So come on, what would you say to your furry friend?

Was wondering if anyone wanted to partake in an exchange of cards this year.
Last year a few of us did this and it was fun to recieve cards from across the globe, and I thought we might give it a try again this year.
I think a deadline of 30th of November would be ok in order to allow for christmas post delays etc
Anyone interested just stick your hand up!

Right, JD. Thanks for this, and those of us who are together as friends, well, looking out for each other is what we do.
I just hope this kind of thing doesn't happen again, I was about to confront him myself about it, and quite possibly get my own self in trouble.......

Movember Anybody (well, probably more directed at the guys, this) joining in with this hairy challenge this month?

Fascinating, though. The old cliché of moronic knuckle-draggers shows just how little we know, look at the carving on that arch!
I thought somebody eating the chancellor'd be a good thing myself.
