In the pics on page 1 it looks like it's smooth sided where as you have a groove going don the side of your body. Is this not seeaqble to me in the pic>? Just curious and don't worry as always this is going to be outstanding!!!! Stace Don't panic thats where the chrome strip goes....

Nice job of picking out the bolts on the frame. And that interior work is eyecatching. Lots of foiling there thats for sure

Cliff, I think you are on the right track! You need something at the rear of the billboard to help break up the broad expanse of color by the trunk. A Super Bee emblem of some sort would fit the bill (board), so to speak. Sorry, I couldn't resist that one!

I've started sanding back through the blue topcoat to reveal the grey primer and rusty coloured base coat. The drivers side front wing a new grey primered replacement panel fitted after the original was found to be beyond repair. ;-)

A question about '69 Yenko...

Thank you for the helpful replys! I think mags would look ok on the kit, but i would need to paint them grey so they aren't so shiny. I originally planned for a 409 chevy engine to go into this truck.

Good Luck! Looks like you have a challenge ahead of you, but I think you can do it! 57 Chevy, 59 Impala, on a Corvette Frame! Looking forward to seeing you progress on this build. Just a thought, but if you could find a "CheZoom" model to work with, you would have a closer looking front end and save on some of the bod work.

Had a go at adding some weathering to the hood.
I'm gonna warm it up a little to add a twist as if the heat of an engine fire has warped the metal.
Chassis/frame given a bit of weathering.
The camera flash has added shine to the paint when its actually all flat.

Way to go on that paint job. Its funny how of all the colors on this car black is the one I do not like. I think it makes the car look too short but because you lowered it the length came back. Again nice job with the rattle can

That will be a very nice color. I just saw that B5 on a 2010 Challenger and it is now my favorite new color. The more models I see of these Coronets the more I like the look of them and I didn't really like them at one time.

The Rally wheels were NOT in the original issues of the Revell (or AMT, for that matter) Yenko Camaro. Don't know if that ever changed in later reissues.
