Thanks Dave and Ray! Dave...yes, that does sound familiar! Ray, my next rebuild is the '64 Impala SS. The body has already been foiled and now I'm working on the interior.

Mangodart, I could have sworn that the Fury's had white roofs, but looking at all my reference pictures. I have to admit you're right! I have no idea how I got the idea of a white roof..... But I'll just say it was a special order

Thanks BTD! If I can get those PE pieces to make the corners below the trunk, I may consider using them. I noticed that the MCG detail set has the fuel injection emblems also, I may take the FI unit from a Revell black widow and use that. Your convertible is beautiful, by the way!

Hey Randy! Your before/after stuff is great! I have a '64 Impala SS that needs your tender loving care (just kidding; I just got involved in a hunting lease and my spare time, even though I'm retired, is getting more and more limited). Extremely nice work on the oft-overlooked details, such as the wheel covers.

Great start there! Looks similar to one I posted a few years ago...same exterior color, same interior colors, only mine was a convertible. What engine configuration will you be using? Since the 1:1 that I had (still hate the fact that I got rid of it) was a 283 2bbl, that's what I built.
I don't want to do the thread-stealing thing or post a picture from that thread in here; if you want to ...

Hiya, the detailing that you added to the wheels n tires really adds to the appearance of your 63 . I like that thin whitewall trick - white gel roller pen - gotta try that. Does it dry nicely on vinyl tires?

I have one of those unbuilt. However, I built a Revell Kit of this car back in 1983, and surprisingly, I still have it, built and on my shelf. I should phohtgraph it and post it, but not under your thread.

Nice one!! Love the color combo and the leaning tower of power. Just goes to show that not all were big-block squads. Is the slant six out of the Dodge 330 kit or resin???

Tremendous job there , sir ! Does it have the 440 Six Pack for motor- vation ? While there are A LOT of great builders and craftsmen here stateside , I must make special mention about how impressed I am with our overseas brothers and their awesome scale representations of not only European ( et-al ) vehicles , but especially with their representations of U.S. vehicles ...

Hi Marc.
i believe the trim color for the (center) speaker grill should be match the seat trim , i am not sure myself what the other two vents are for each side but as a guess i would say air con vents or just air vents??? and would prob be the same as the speaker cover....
