From what I say on the directions it said that it needed to be hooked up to the positive side of the parking brake switch. But sometimes directions suck and you have to trust what you know and from past installs it was mainly on a switched ground so the relay idea with a double ground would work real nicely instead.

I've yet to figure out how to get the rear cross member out w/o fubaring the brake line(s). Buy the SL2 as-is. Either fix what's wrong with it and use the SL for parts or swap everything to the SL from the SL2. My '95 feels kinda sloppy in the corners with stock springs, stock size tires and a front sway bar from a SL1, just something to get used to after having the larger SL2 sway bar...

I use Street Glow 9006, 9005's and they are way brighter than anything I've used in the past. plus they are about $10 bucks cheaper than the sylvania's. I believe $25 for the 9006, and $30 for the 9005. I also plan on getting the Street glow bulbs for my factory fog lights.

unfortunetly you limited for clear lens for your generation. Their are none :/ HID's can be bought from HID Extra from the General Forum. They are much less in $$$$ I, along with others, have had HID's in the OEM reflector housings with out issues. As long as you adjust them as needed your alright. Their are no projectors headlights that are made for our cars. Its all custom.

I've been around quite a while, and have never heard of anyone offering them. You're probably going to have to go custom. Not sure if you'll see any gain from it, either.

i guess i should rephrase the title line. i was saying the car has an auto trans and that i'm looking for some bolt on performance parts for the car, not neccesarily for the trans. i'm not looking for a huge amount of power, this is my daily driver and the only one of my cars i'm willing to put gas into since my other car is a 70 galaxie with a 429. mainly looking for low-mid rpm range power so ...

the only issue is that they're for sohc and not dohc. I personally wouldnt buy them because obx seems to make some real low quality products (radiator hoses anyone?) you'd be much better to just buy a decent brand from a store that were black and just stock replacement (ie not duracrap).

you might just be better off buying one of those in dash double din, gps stereos from ebay. I bought one for my 99 sl2 for 289.99 ships and it works great. Backup camera, gps, blutooth, dvd player,cd player, sd slot, usb, and ipod,+ a bunch more. All you would need is the dash kit.
