Tpms problem
Published (2009-12-24 15:38:00)
I recently had a similar problem with one of my TPMS valves. The tire shop found a leak on the stem at the core, they replaced the core with two different types including a brass one. It was decided that the air was leaking by the core along the threads, so the threads must be slightly defective on the TPMS stem. I too now have the amber tire light on my dash, which I will have to put some black tape over to make it go away. Even when I get a...

75.6 and 13.1 is pretty thick compared to the fluids I looked at. I see GL-4 (of course) and an Opel spec. Seems like a fluid that would go into a V-XR. A thinner ATF like the GM Transaxle would be approriate for the low powered 1.8, so maybe that's how it got recommended for North America. A lot depends on operating cycle too. It does not really take a lot of power to run 100mph+ all day and heat up the trans closer to the +100c spec....

Some people requested a night pic of the sticker on the AC panel. Here it is. I'm surprised myself how professional it looks.

More like what one bloggers opinion is. I would think sales counted more than subjective opinions and the ION sold more in the average month than the Astra sold in a year. Dropping the ION is the reason why the Saturn dealers started closing up and going out of business. Just because something is well produced does not make it true.

if the tire guy wasnt used to working on newer cars he could have broken the sensors. these things have been around for quite a few years now so youd think a tire shop would know better

Where can there still be 2008 Saturns left in the US of A? Here in local Detroit and extending a range up to 250 miles I could not find a single Astra on any dealer lot.

Very nice work there. Was thinking about doing something similar myself. How thick is the original screen? I wonder if it could be mounted near the front seat done lights as there is a free panel since I have no sunroof.

You should get some funky chromed-plastic wheel covers! I wanted to get some for my winters steelie, but couldn't find any 16" ones. So I wound up putting my factory plastic covers back on, but I was really looking forward to giving the wheels a different look, just for the change. ~N~

I bought from these guys 3 times. Once for my TPMS, another time for hubcaps to use with my winter wheels and another time for the sunvisor clip. I'm in Canada, but every time I got my package within a week to 10 days. I'd definitely buy from them again if I need to get something else.
