When we sit down at the table and bow our heads I will thank the Lord for bringing everyone together and ask that he be with your Grandmother and Grandfather. Will pray for your entire family Iceberg.... Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers this entire Thanksgiving. Thank you Tony for reminding us how precious life is and how valuable our time with the family is.

Thanks guys You dont know how much I appreciate it. On the good side Grandpa seems to be doing better. He got a fair amount of sleep last nite (after getting very little Sunday & Monday night) Grandma is still the same. Not much change today other than some medicines they are lowering the dosages so that sounds good Everyone have a good Turkey Day

Praying for your family, Tony. After the outpouring of support I received last year when my mother was really sick, I know what you're speaking about. It IS shocking to see someone suddenly thrown into the medical system, but remember-there are many caring people working to get your grandmother back on her feet again. And like everyone told me, take care of yourself, rest as much as you can, and eat, even when you have no real appetite....

Yea, some of the commentary comments are funny, I like what one poster said, "most of the stuff on You Tube is illegal anyway" Engadget, and Gizmodo are some of my favorite Tech sites on what’s what with up and coming technologies for the consumer. They don't cover allot of DVB-S gear, but once an awhile they showcase something that’s either OTA related or Dish related. Quote: Originally Posted by turbosat Thanks...

Your family and your Grandma's recovery will be in my prayers this Thanksgiving, Tony... I lost a close uncle nearly two weeks ago (the family emergency I mentioned in the SD180G review), and it was sudden. He was the last relative I would have expected to pass away. Just an hour before, he was helping his sister fix her computer. When you say that we should cherish the time we have together with our relatives, you really have an...

You describe one of two things: Either what I've heard referenced as Clear-QAM, or the old NTSC analog style basic cable service. Either way, yeah, it's legal. Not widely publicized, but legal. As it turns out, you might want to check in to adding the basic cable television service to your internet package. In my area, it's apparently cheaper to have both as a bundle than it is to subscribe ...

What receiver do you have ? Is the dish fixed in place ? or motorized ? How did this happen, Did the receiver just "reset" and everything was gone ? Have you been aimed at just the single satellite ? ( Now known as Galaxy 19, 97W ) . Try lnb freq 10750 . Transponder freq 11779 H 3939 . Do you have a signal indication or Quality indication :

If you desire, most receivers now will let you set a number of satellites to scan, it will move the dish with the motor to that sat, scan, then to the next, etc. I've never used that feature myself but it might be handy for some people. edit: also, as ...
