The nice part is that Dish will do the upgrade and provide everything you need (all new reflector and LNBF's) so that you continue to receive the channels you do today, and all the HD relating to your package. You really don't have to worry about a thing. The Dish will be bigger but not too big, and it should be a single dish solution. No, it is not as simple as just swapping-out your boxes. But they do all the work.

The 1985 series was better then the 2000's series. The original still the best of the three.

Also if your credit card expires they will send you a bill. If you do not pay it they will hit your credit score and report. U will have bad credit just cause u will not give em there boxes, which is not worth it. just keep everything logged with times when you spoke to a csr and there name to protect ur self.

The Google ad model is different than the conventional ones. It actually brags about its ability to take into account people's ad skipping habits using DVRs. Which is why they mine the viewing data from the DVR users, not from the non-DVR users. An example of such smart ads is the latest TiVo/Coors Light alliance during the NFL games. When you hit pause to skip the ads, the Coors Light ad will pop up during your pause, same with when you...

Normally, the boxes should have been sent out to you and received in 3 to 5 days. Your CSR may have dropped the ball and not sent out the boxes. I am surprised that you have not been charged for the receivers already - usually Dish jumps all over that. I would give Dish a call and ask for more boxes to be sent out. Then again, if it's been that long, somehow, we may have forgotten about you....

My daughter has a 722 she wants to connect to her wireless network. She has a Linksys WRT54G router. She has asked for a piece of hardware for Christmas to allow her to do this. I have seen this weeks planned uplink activity and I don't expect much although they are going to be testing a new HD channel on one of the Temps. However even though that station will start testing there is no word if and when it will become available. That channel is EPIX HD.
