I see four references to lossless audio but each seems to discuss HDMI and lossless audio it does not seem to makea comparison to other cables. But I am not questioning you. But we are getting pretty far from the topic of the thread. I apologize for contributing tho the trend.

No. Monster is overrated and overpiced. That's where stores make money. Any CL2 cable will work with any components that are available at this time. If you need a new HDMI cable, go to monoprice. There will be no difference. S~

Well, it seems many recommend no UPS for the TV. I guess if its not biggie, then I could just get a real good SP and continue to use my old beater UPS for the HDDVR.

no go here. Ive had enough of the ever changing spec leading to the biggest anti consumer market ever. Could they make it any more confusing?
