Thanks for prompt action on users requests, resulting in actual drivers fix. Hope, the new drivers also support multiple DVB World Sat tuners of different models streaming simultaneously, and multiple devices of different makes (like TT and DVBWorld) working together in most popular Sat TV Viewer apps.

I tested the receiver with ProgDVB (current version)and it works good. With DVB Dream it works the best. when you boot DVB Dream it automatically selects the LME driver. It's like the two were made for each other. Both programs find the current driver LME.......7395 version 2.0.1 and load while ignoring the older LMEDVBS.DLL driver. I will test it with AltDVB and post on that.

In my case: - Easier to update transponders - You can select between a lot of codecs - Windows Media Center - EPG with colored logos and images

Twinhan cards like all other cards will do 4:2:2. A dvb card is different than a stb in that it just passes data to the host computer, its the computer with the help of a viewing program and codecs that handles the 4:2:2 display. If you were thinking about getting a twinhan, there are differences, the older cards, some of which are still sold as new are dvb-s only. The newer ones are dvb-s2 capable. I've never had one of the newer ones...

DTV DVB-S2 PCIe 2006 - Do you have Windows 7 64bit drivers or only 32bit drivers for this card?

With a Prof 7300 card I have had success using the x64 ProgDVB version 6.24 with Win 7 x64 Home Premium. The drivers are x64 beta drivers from Prof and the codecs were x64 versions too. It functioned perfectly, beyond my wildest expectations, just yesterday. My earlier experience with ProgDVB versions 6.21, 6.22 (would not even setup) and 6.23 were frought with many crashes, some of which were because of codec choices. If I used a 32 bit codec...

I bought the DVBs2HD usb box last week. It is not well supported, at least yet. The software that comes with it is actually quite nice, it took a while for me to figure out how to use it. I have not been able to lock any dvb-s2 signals yet, it seems to see the transponder, gives a signal and quality reading during a scan but won't write any channels to the list. I'm not sure what is going on ...

There are several threads in this section devoted to testing DVB-S2 USB models of various manufacturers. Just look through.

You appear to be looking for a USB Device Driver for TV-SO2 DVB-S receiver. While the driver and Sat TV viewer software are said to be included with it on a CD, its hard to find anyone able to get this particular nice looking device actually working in N/A. Not sure, what PCI has to do with it, but good luck!

Another user reported ProgDVB Sat. TV Viewer to work well with Win 7 x64. Look at particular your card manufacturer's site for Win x64 drivers and driver modules for various Viewers. Try installing Win 32 on a separate partition of your x64 PC, and see if Twinhan 1020a will work OK using Win32 drivers.

That's a strange design !
I don't see the reason for having both circular ports on one 22khz or Diseqc Switch, and both Linear ports on the other. Usually, each switch gets a circular and linear port. Hopefully, there is no way to move the motor from the 2d card, you wouldn't like the results, I suspect. If those are 22khz switches , though, I've seen the diseqc commands for the motor go ...

What will probably happen is Direct TV will encrypt the music just like Dish did so I wouldn't buy into it. There is no free lunch for long. Just like with PowerVu and Dc2.

I don't have the 3600, but most tuners feed the LNB power and DiSEqC commands through a choke. This is an easy part to blow if the coax gets shorted somehow, like making or breaking connections when the 3600 is already on. A choke might not be that hard to replace. However you need LNB power for DiSEqC devices, so unless you put a scope on the jack, I'm not sure one can conclude the DiSEqC output...
