We definitely enjoyed listening to Kruk more then LOL. The guy was unreal when he came up to ab no one went to the bathroom, concessions anything until he was done. I can't remember how many times when the giants were on the road and blowing out the opponents that fans would stay until Barry last AB before they left most of the time. The main thing you noticed though was that at&t didn't seam as large when he was playing. I...

"Only if it's 1 year for around 5 million. He's better than anything we have now. " i think that is kind of a funny statement. If he is better than anything else we have, then he might be worth more than 5 million per season. I think that if we were to offer a one year deal for 5 million he would not even think about it. I bet there are 15-20 other teams that would offer that, why would he want to come here? If we...

Any Updates on Angel Villalona??
Published (2009-11-08 22:48:00)
There's a new Villalona update thread. It seems there might be new info. I think your reference to Uribe's charges in the DR were anecdotal evidence that things might go well for Villalona. Only time will tell but I'd wager the Giants aren't presently considering him in there long term plans.

Concerning Villalona, I guess no news is bad news. At this point, he'll be lucky to ever don a baseball uniform.

Pouncing on Affeldt worked out great for us, but the Renteria situation turned out awful. In the case of Jason Bay (if we even go after him), it'd be great to get started right away on that. In the case of others like Dye, it'd be a great idea to wait. Hopefully he waits on Penny & Uribe and lets them test the market. I don't want Molina, Howry or Winn back here AT ALL.

I hope I never have to watch Alex Smith play in a Niners uniform again.....ever since his first snap as a rookie, anyone could tell that this kid can't play QB in the NFL. He has all the tools to be a good player, but just can't seem to get up to the speed of the game. So sure, throw Davis in there, lets see what he's got...

I half-way agree with you here. I guess it is the outlook that you have when trying to fix this team offensively. Everyone knows we need Power, but there are other areas this team needs to improve. We need to get more patient at the plate. We need guys in this line-up that can get on base in different ways, including being able to take a walk now and then. We need guys who can work the ...

For those out of the area and need a stream...go here < http://atdhe.net / Scroll down to " San Francisco 49ers vs Indianapolis Colts" and click on the link. If it goes down, exit the page and refresh the site, sometimes they'll have a backup stream ready.

Under no circumstances would I want a 36 year old Pedro Feliz on this team. He couldn't even slug .386 in Philadelphia. That should be enough to issue a resounding NO.

Let's see here: 1. He's 36 years old 2. He doesn't solve our cleaup hitter problems 3. He'd hit 10-15 homers max playing for us 4. We didn't sign him 4 years ago when he still would've been a really good addition 5. He's limited to LF defensively and has a weak arm 6. He might cost us more than 1 year on his contract 7. His one skill is getting on-base (which is good, but when you have nobody...

Hope the Yanks come down with a mild to moderate yet complete team case of the Swine flu. Otherwise the Phils are unfortunately done and short of the above mentioned scenario, it doesn't matter what the 200 million dollar, yes money can buy you almost anything, Yankees do. They'll win.

If the Giants don't get a real 1B like Howard or Fielder or whoever, Garko should be the everyday 1B next year. If anyone is non-tendered, it should be Ishikawa. -chef
