Jay Cutler is gone. So maybe Josh McDaniels is the Bronco that San Diego will love to hate now. The Chargers' locker room was abuzz yesterday, as players were both offended and amused by the Denver Broncos head coach telling the Chargers linebackers before yesterday's game, "We own you." That, at least, was the version offered by the linebackers, to a man. McDaniels, who slowed down to talk on his way to his car...

When we lose its norv's fault but when we win it's because he inherited a good team? Lose-Lose situation for Norv in Charger Nation imo..... and this is coming from a Charger fan who sees this kinda shit every year living soo close to NYC. This is San Diego, not New York, give the man his props when deserved. Talent or not, he does have the highest winning percentage in Chargers' history. A coach's job is too put his team...

I am convinced Denver has the best fans in the NFL and that that unconditional love gets the best out of their asshole players. Ryan would have done well to go there and blow away enabled asshole Elway. Ryan>Jay

You know, I don't hate him like I hate Joe Buck and Aikman, IMO they just suck at conveying knowledge or intelligence.
Millen was really bad at evaluating talent and the business side of football, but I don't think that knowledge of the game and being a decent announcer are intricately tied with the first two. He's like the technical guru who couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag. He ...

Nope, not the same team, this one played with focus & emotion
Denver will lose to INDY, no doubt about it, but will win in Philly (Dawkins factor).
The team SHOULD beat KC & OAK for 3 wins, but those games scare me, as all divisional games should.
That may not be enough to "catch" SD, but it should give Denver 10-11 wins, which is better than I expected (8-10ish), and a good chance at ...

Great article, Swoop!
So where do you stand with Norv being the best coach we've had since Gillman?

I use myp2p.eu You can either stream it online or watch it through a program called sopcast. sopcast is more reliable and has less drag but if you get a good feed they both work well. It also has all PPVs. I watch all the UFCs on it.

Let it go, Chris. You half-assed it for a season and a half and played like you were saving yourself for your next contract. Join in the fine company of Igor Olshansky in that regard.
Then you got involved with unsavory off-field issues that you admitted to in the San Diego papers, but curiously omitted from the article above.
I hope your career finds a second wind in KC, but not this ...

When I was 13 or 14, I was BIG on collecting football cards and autograph's. Freshman year in High School was in 1991 and the Giants had just won Superbowl XXV a few months earlier against the bills.
My first day in HS, I heard about a Giants Walk-A-Thon for charity at Giants Stadium and our schools Key Club was looking for volunteers to help out at the event. Didn't really care about ...

I think Rivers thrives on competition the more intense it gets. In other words, he really excels under pressure which also is seen in the pocket under duress. This guy is a gem and I'm glad AJ locked him up early. Hopefully he locks up VJ and Merriman as well. OH yeah.....AND AN OFFENSIVE LINE!!
I see no reason why the Chargers do not win this game today and without last second heroics. Well...

Norv has never been my favorite Head Coach, and I base that on his history of win / loss ratio.
Today, at the present time, I still do not like Norv Turner. However, I will give him credit for his accomplishments of what he has been able to do with our Chargers here lately.
I do not have to like Norv Turner, but one thing is for sure; he will certainly earn my respect when he takes our...

Hank Bauer said that McDaniels walked by the SD linebackers before the game and said "we own you." Heard from someone on the Bolts' staff.

Several other players, including linebacker Stephen Cooper, defensive lineman Travis Johnson and running back Darren Sproles were at the bar. They had just returned from Denver, where the team beat the Broncos 32-3, putting the Chargers in first place in the AFC West.
