Hi, Take a look at "Products". It is a standard object in SF, and works with Donations object to calculate Amount. So you can create your service as an Item and assign units (hours) that you are "selling" and see them linked to the Grant/Donation. Sandeep Message Edited by sbanga on 12-23-2009 09:44 AM

to all, Individuals at my organization can touch the organization in many ways. They don't just have to be a volunteer. they could also be a teaching artist and or student and or visitor to a specific show (ie, musical). What is the best way about identifying an individual in different ways? Currently, I'm planning on setting up a one-to-one model, but that only allows me to identify them by themselves or a category of my...

Skoodat offers all the apps you mention, and more, as part of its Foundation product. Suggest that you contact Jeff Swanson at (800) 515-2535, extension 103. Jeff works for Skoodat and is responsible for sales. Their website, www.skoodat.com also offers quite a bit of information.

Hoping someone has created this report before and can or make an exception. I'm trying to create a report that shows me who made a donation this last year but not this year. I'm also trying to create a report that show donors who have not given in the last three years. Any suggestion on how to create these reports would be great. thanks, p

Bob, I am guessing you are using the Nonprofit Starter Pack. If that is the case, the best resource is the documentation on the developer wiki about the package. Steve has done a great job keeping that up to date with where the packages are at. Here's the link to the householding package . Best, -chris -- ifPeople www.ifpeople.net

One thing I can say - if your organization's priority is tracking limited-duration and renewable memberships, then you need to create an Individual record type for Account and use an Account record for every individual. Because opportunities are directly linked to accounts, this is the only way to track membership payments over a span of years and determine the current membership expiration date...

Hi, I also was frustrated at the one to many problem so I wrote and s-control to show all related accounts using contact roles. Here's the code (you might have to tweak it if you using " households" (is this the non-profit term for accounts?) <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <link href="/dCSS/Theme2/default/common.css" type...

Hello, You can try this - If you are on nonprofit starter pack. You should have a default LYBUNT report (last year but not this year) in the "Nonprofit Edition Reports" so you already have the first one. You can customize this report to create your second report. Example : Currently in this report the criteria says - Last Donation Date = LAST YEAR, change this to:...

Do they have an associated Account with them? I know I get an alert when importing data that contacts without an account will be private and viewable only by me, so maybe that overrides even system administrator access? (Not positive, I'm still fairly new to the whole thing myself!)
