fuel pressure is fine, tested that a while back when we put a new pump in a couple months back. I will mention to put some cardboard over the radiator. I will have to check on to see if the scan tool is saying what the readout on the dash says. I'm away from that truck right now as it is in Indiana and I am in Ohio till friday.

I have had this code po174 and a mass air sensor code come up recently , cleaned the sensor wires with cleaner and q-tip and cleaned the air filter . 150 miles so far so good . Any ideas what could cause these codes ? Truck still has the original spider injectors .... Bob

Try putting a piece of cardboard over half the radiator to see if the engine will warm up. The only thing I could think of is it's pouring fuel in and cooling off the engine, but that's about absurd for it to be happening. Did the new injector spider come with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? Have you checked the fuel pressure? Have you pulled the plugs to see if any show irregular fire? It could be the temp sensor is bad, does...

It could be one of a number of things. The last one you'd want is a bad EBCM. Runs about $900-$1k new from the dealership, I believe. I've been troubleshooting a GMC Safari and all tests point to that. Lucky owner! I'd at least try to the the ABS code(s) pulled to see what you're looking at.

Are you positive that you put the distributor back in correctly? I don't think you skipped the chain, I think you skipped a tooth or two on the distributor gear.

If it's going lean off idle, then your accelerator enrichment is too small. Has nothing to do with your fuel table. Look around for a table that has Accelerator Enrichment vs. Delta TPS. Also, there should be an injector constant somewhere where you can tell it what size injectors you have. Teeleton
