Formulakid1 apparently you don’t know anything, its common knowledge that all teenagers know everything. Just kidding, maybe this guy knows something, but starting a new thread is a waste. If people have questions they start a thread and if you want to help post it on there thread. The flux capacitor was good for a couple of yuks, and hey at least he didn’t ask you guy for a brake? I going to be doing a carb setup in my s-10, the EVAP code...

350 block - Page 3 - S-10 Forum
Published (2009-11-29 10:31:00)
and yes there was a 400 block, it was actually a different casting then the other small blocks, the cylinders are siamesed, the block has "steam holes" and it has more freeze plugs on the outside of it... but none of that affects the parts that go on it, anything that will bolt to the other small blocks will bolt to a 400 they are getting pretty hard to find though

yea ur right dropping the a/c for now. waiting on the guy with the chevy 400 asked him for casting number to see what type of horse power it had. also looking at a stroker kit just in chase the 400 engine is not worth it.ebay has a huge selection of stroker kits a decent prices.

you have to use v8 s10 swap headers, OR manifolds off of a low performance camaro(82-9?) you will need 2.8 mounts, they are the best for the swap.A place called JTR, Current performance wiring, jegs, summit,,just about anywhere sells the headers and mounts

Depends on how you do it. After running warm....checking it would be pretty high. Checking it cold should be around 120+ IMO however I would not be discouraged if it was as low as 95. Just make sure they all read within 15% of one another.

Yeah, the steering shaft goes through the headers. You have to take it off, put the header in place then put the shaft through it.

Thats going to depend allot on the HP your making, duration/lift on the cam. if you are wanting to get some good high RPM launches you will obviously need a large stall that will probably not be very street desirable 3200+ especially with a high RPM stroker. I have a decent built 355 and run a 2200 converter. It is a good street/strip stall with descent launch. I'm no professional but would ...
