Gentlemen, I am in process of a conversion with a few questions. I did read the sticky on the fuel but still some what confused. I want to go with the corvett filter so there will only be one line going up to the engine. I now have the filter but what is the part/part number of the metal tube/fitting that goes in the front/outlet going up to the engine that you add the AN fitting too? The sticky...

Well the time has come for a little upgrade in the power department. It's my Senior Year in Highschool and all seniors must do a "Senior Project" on any topic they wish. So for mine, I plan to conquer the V8 swap! Whoo! Let me warn everyone, its going to be a slow going project... I would like to do some performance upgrades as well so anyways, onwards to the pics! The engine is a 5.3 from...

Ok kinda new to this LSx discussion but not new to S10's. Have had at least 1 sitting around for over 15 years. Currently have a 1995 with 2000 core support and front clip and lowered 5-6. Im liking the whole LSx swap thing. You guys got some GREAT sounding and looking trucks. Pretty cool. Heres my questions since you guys are the pros. Correct me if you see something not going to work good. ...

:confused:I recently did a 5.3 swap in my 98 blazer and am having a strange issue come up. The motor sat in the weather before i got it and has a bunch of miles on it and was cruddy inside the valve covers. So i put fresh oil in it when i got it in and added some sea foam to clean up the build up. well the oil pressure was normal for a while then i noticed rocker arm tapping sound and noticed ...

Its been almost 2 years in the making. Lots of time, money and effort has went into this project, but I'll say that me nor my father or brother regret one bit of it. We have all learned more from this project than possibly anything else we have done together, and it has brought as closer together as a family. There are still a few loose ends we need to tie up, but while i am down with the flu my...

Hey Guys, I found reference to a few people that have modified the pedal to fit. Does anybody have any pictures? It's a tight fit just getting the pedal body up by where the stock one was. And the lever arm on the thing is huge, but I'm thinking it wouldn't be that hard to modify. Just looking for ideas before I break out the cutoff wheel and the welder. Thanks!

So I am finally starting up a post to show what I've been up to and will start off with a few pics. My S10 is a 1999 that I purchased from new. Like these trucks so much that when I purchased it I never sat in mine or any S10, test drove a S10, just a window peek and I made the purchase, however originally wanted a blazer but couldn't afford it. It has yet to see rain and purely hobby!...

I'm going to be picking an engine up this week. The place has 2 04 lq4 engines. One has a cracked intake. I was planning on swapping a ls6 intake anyway. I already know about the clearance issues with the truck brackets. I can get the wireharness, computer, and gas pedal (DBW) but will I be able to use the truck or any DBW throttle body on the ls6 intake? I don't want to waste my money...

Hi, I am relatively new here but I am beginning to research a LSx swap and what I will need/costs. At this point I would like to start with a 6.0 Truck engine because they are relatively cheap compared to the aluminum engines. However I really do not want an auto because I really do not like them. So as far as a manual trans holding up to a factory 6.0 with at most a cam and bolt-ons, what ...
