It'd be easier just to replace the bad section, those wires are common and the connector they use should be same on all s10's and blazers. At least it sounds exactly like my second gen. Click my sig for wiring diagrams.

Horn honks if turning fast?
Published (2009-12-04 23:33:00)
I believe the deal is the SRS sensor. Your horn runs thru it and splits up and out thru the column. (I may be wrong.., but from the exploded pics I am looking at.., it states that the wire for the horn comes up into the steering wheel and that it is connected thru the SRS wheel. (the big yellow round thingy.) I got dumb question.., Has your airbag light on cluster/instrument panel been coming on when this is happening? Or is it staying on? If...

No, no airbag light comes on ever. It does the system check at startup then goes off. Thanks for the info. I'll have to find time to check it out. It has only happened 6-7 times since I bought it in July, but bugs me every time it does it though.

you need a flyback diode and a clamping diode... the voltage has to become larger so that it pulls the current in quick enough... no chatter then(which is prolly what you're having an issue with right?)

http://www.partstrain.com/images/The..._headlight.jpg I don't know if any of you have seen these, but this is pretty sick. These are the LED Headlights on the Audi Nuvolari Concept Car. Audi CLAIMS that it puts out 250% more light than a 55-Watt 4300K HID Headlight.

Removing Body Relay Block?
Published (2009-12-05 12:33:00)
Are you talking about removing the bolt-driven connectors from the relay center?? After you've fully loosened the bolt they will pull off. They semi snap into position so it'll take a pretty good tug.

What exactly do you want a diagram of? The stock headlight wiring? I'm confused. I'm pretty decent at doing up circuts in CAD, but are you looking for a color diagram that uses the factory wire colors? If so, that would take some MSpaint skills or some $$ software. PS: WTF is main fire? PPS: 4 pin relays are no big deal. most 5 pin units only end up with 4 pins used.

People don't use LEDs as fog lights, or at least I haven't seen yet. They don't have the distance output as just some regular halogen bulb. I don't think Audi uses leds in their fogs either?

Power Window Problem, Not Typical, or maybe Just got done replacing my power window motor and regulator on the drivers side of my 2001 Xtreme. The window would work before but it kept slowing down and dying, like the motor was dying on it. So I bought a new motor and regulator on ebay from s10warehouse and it is doing the same thing. Could it be a bad ground...

There is a fuse on the side of the dash that is specifically for gauges lighting. It's a 5A fuse if I'm not mistaken. I'd check that one first.

That doesn't mean it's not the multi-function switch. My truck used to have driving lights, turns, emergency lights, but NO brake lights. Went through the whole process and found out that the dielectric grease between the multi-function switch and it's mounting point had wore out causing it to short. I say take that sucker off and inspect for grease. If all else fails buy a new one off ebay ($...
