well i live in Minnesota and i have a 5/6 and it handles like i did when i was stock. i just have to watch out for drifts and all that snow at the end of the drive way. and basically
when it snows more than 2inches i stay home haha

if its 3/4 it most likely springs in the front and blocks in the back. you dont have a flip kit if you have an s10, a flip kit will raise the truck about 5 inches. if you take a pic of the back of the spindle and post it we can tell you if it has
drop spindles.

If you notch the frame, or course you can always take it back up to stock height. Keep in mind that if you notch an
s10, you'll need to move the evap canister out of the way. Shouldn't need to notch unless you're dropping it 5" or more anyways. I was about 5.5-6" dropped in the rear before, and I certainly wish I had notched it.
If you go that low anyways, you should probably just save up ...

i'd also have a cut off wheel and or a sawzall handy in case the
leaf spring eye bolts are seized inside the sleeves in the bushings. also,in most cases the drivers side front eye bolt won't have a enuff room to pull all the way out cuz the gas tank is in the way so i just cut mine and put the new one in from the outside problem solved. finally,there's really no need to take the shocks off ...

spindles up front and leafs in the back will be best.
or coils in front block in rear.
