"I don't know if we have five days. We have to assume the Empire's going to either move shop, or dig in. We need speed."

"As long as it takes to patch up your ship. I'll have a small group set you up while Novgorod goes through repairs." He stared at the far wall in thought. "I'd say three days if they hustle, but I'd rather nothing get overlooked in a rush so you've got five days till you leave."

Footsteps, from the basement. It was a strange thing to hear at this time of night, or at any time of the day for that matter, but Ezra was hardly frightened by it. He heard many things that he knew did not and could not exist. The walls had voices these days, but Ezra hardly thought himself going mad. Rather, he put it down as a result of his separation from sentient life and his subconscious attempting to converse with itself. Completely...

Lost in her own thoughts, the Lupine answered after a few quiet moments. "I'll do what I can. Keep in mind I'm no real mind-reader... " An almost bashful look crossed her features then as she looked sidelong at Dan, giving a small, apologetic shrug. "... never got around to learning the finer points at the Temple."

s'Il hoped desperately that his words would be true. She knew well enough that if they were caught it meant her death, and the thought of it brought forth a grim resolve in her blue eye. Dan would not allow them to be taken; in the years that they'd fought alongside one another she'd at least come to know him well enough to realize that the man's will was close to indestructible. Or at least, to ...

Kizael settled into the pilot's seat after running the pre-flight checks. Behind him, the bright green R2 droid rolled across the tiny cabin and secured itself into its dock, twittering in what he couldn't help but hear as annoyance. The Jedi glanced at his computer screen as text scrolled by.
"I'm sure you did, but if you don't mind I like to check the controls of a ship that I'm flying ...

Kizael sat in the lower bunk of his cell, legs crossed before him in the lotus position. His eyes shifted behind his closed lids in rhythm with the dancing lights cast from the cylindrical stand on the small table next to him.
His mind's eye studied the memory of Miranda Tarkin's inauguration speech. Eidetic memory was not a talent that he invoked often, but the emotions swirled up in ...

"Most unnecessary I assure you my dear." The disembodied voice, however badly garbled and metallic, wasn't familiar to the half-Cizerack. Before Sasseeri could question the droid its forward emitters sparked to life projecting a hologram of an Inquisitoriate officer.

Tionne loathed public transport. Not so much for other sentients that traveled across the galaxy, but mainly because commercial freighters often lacked sufficient personal space. With her legs stuffed in the cramped space between her own seat and the one directly in front of her, the Knight could barely breath, let alone stretch her legs during the twelve hour ride to Molavar. Suppressing all of...

"You've looked better," he offered by way of greeting, and put the helmet down on the bar between them.
The man in front of him was a shadow of his former self, and whatever had happened to him couldn't have been pleasant. Darven had an idea just who could have happened to Montegue, going by the reports he'd read in that slug's personal files, but he wasn't going to make him talk about it if ...
