Hey Chuck, I lived in Maine for 20 years or so. Lots of good roads in ME, NH, and VT. Well, also CT, NY, etc. I took my trip on my '98 GS. We'll have to swap stories. Rod PS: thanks again for the offer of a ride... Looks like mud city will be here as soon as snow city leaves!

It is a very strange feeling knowing that the ST is days away from not belonging to me. The ST was purchased for me by my previous employer and they took care of all of the farkles, maintenance and gear. I will say that I do have gear. Willy, thanks for the info. Yer probably right, I started riding three years ago and I've gone thru six bikes, always learning and yearning. I'm thinking Peter Egan is right, you must have five bikes at all times to be happy. I hear the Goldwings are a pleasant surprise in the handling department. Cheers Tim

There was a typo - the factory warranty expires 1/2010 - I corrected the mistake I would take $6500 minus the Russell seat and Pan-European top box
