yeah, the packing is probably loose. you can get a new resonator from summit for like 40 bux, and get it welded in for another 20 at your local monro.

i just got my car out my tuners and problem is resolved thank god. The problem with my car was it had an o ring on the fuel pressure regulator that was not suppose to be there from were I took it took the dealers. They just basicly screwed me. but any ways he took that off and checked out the fuel pressure and all is well, I drove it today and it felt great.

might want to check your ecm connections... especially the bottom one can't remeber the color but the one closest to the ground.

yeah i had changed them to the stock from the msds and it didnt do anything so i just put my msds back on. ill try to turn the boost down tomorrow to see if that helps.

cleaned that black box also replaced the relay..still doing the same thing..i called in reinforcements(my dad) lol and we started going through all the sensors and wires and i think we found a weak spot..we think it is the IAC (idle air control valve). hopefully this is it and i can get my girl back on the road..

does it only make the noise when the heater is on? that's the only thing running fluid in the dash...maybe radiator is low?

Just a suggestion check your multifunction switch, the connector in the back and make sure it is not melted and your wires are not touching and shorting out on each other. Worth a shot.

Did you check you plug wires??? What coil pack are you running? MSD are known to fail.
Are you sure the harness on your re-wire is still good? Did you check the metal contacts in the harness of the TPS sensor???

im running stock turbo, with greddy emanage , tuned at 16 lbs. stock
injectors. big fmic, fm wastegate, agp hardpipe, msd coil, wires. autolite
xp plugs gapped at .030

some people will say 5-6 on occasion is ok, and some will say 1.5-3* of KR is ok on occasion. I just tune my timing so that i have zero knock. works out to about 21-23* advance timing at WOT with a 20g at 28psi.

Thats not enough to go on for us to help you. First off whats your cars
setup?,what kind of fuel octane rating are you using? Do you have a check
engine light on? have you checked for boostleaks?

Have you check your VVT-I Solenoid? They tend to leak oil into the UPP.
